If you edit your profile on what ever your chosen platform or app is, you should see a field like "Bitcoin Lightning Address". You can enter any email like payment address you have, either the one you'll have from Fountain or perhaps you have a "Wallet of Satoshi" account. It can be anything you use. You can move funds in and out it from any other wallet you like. If you don't have a wallet, then https://coinos.io/ is probably the easiest to setup, once done, you'll have an address like: mikeh@coinos.io to receive funds to.

Hi Suzanne. Welcome. I hope to hear more about Fountain and your music. I have been receiving payments of as high as 17 cents and even 3 dollars occasionally from Spotify and of course my massive bmi checks of over 7 dollars. I want to learn about monetizing my works from long ago as I know it’s possible. Anyway, I hope to see and hear more from you. Have a great week!

Hi Suzanne and welcome! Your fountain address can't receive zaps. You could register a Coinos account to get something like suzanne@coinos.io and then put that in your nostr profile instead.

Perfect example of the POWERFUL, no-brainer use cases we need to do a better job highlighting for non-technical / non-developer users to get their foot in the door with nostr. Imagine how many musicians would follow @Suzanne Santo lead if they were just aware Fountain existed. Now do the same for podcast equivalents. Now do the same exercise on Substack getting writers to copy and paste their existing substack content onto @Fanfares and other nostr monetized publishers. The avalanche of nostr adoption is coming soon we just need all hands on deck to get the word out!! This is the perfect example of the exact type of stuff @walker was talking about on his last pod. Btw I'm actively getting paid by @Fountain in sats as we speak to listen to your song "Worried". Nostr is the BEST!! View quoted note β†’

I am very much interested in a better way to release music. I’m all for the acts of service, ( aka no financial return on Spotify) but it sure does feel good to have financial support.
