Time zones is one thing but we should all be on the same date. The whole world should change day at the same time. The time of day that the day changes to the next should depend on timezones. Like in new Zealand the day can still end and start at midnight. Everywhere else should be adjusted so their days end and begin at the exact same time.

As a farmer. If you are interested in living a rural lifestyle raising livestock etc. Do not purchase livestock until you already have the infrastructure in place. It will be a never ending struggle. If you want goats you either need good fencing or the matriarch needs to be kept on a chain and moved around manually. If you want cattle and you don't have water storage and internal fencing to rotate them properly you'll be spending more money on food and water than you get for selling them. If you don't have a fenced off yard around your chicken coop they will destroy your vegetables and shit in your house and get taken by foxes. Just a heads up for anyone interested in getting into it. Same shit applies for trees. Annual crops you can just cop a bad season and have a failed crop, but trees and livestock need things in place to keep them alive during a heatwave, a cold snap, a drought etc.
