Cal is such a pro. Producing, recording and playing drums and percussion for all the album tracks. Adding sweet harmonies on a few of the songs and making some awesome arrangement suggestions. I'll admit, I'm much more comfortable on the stage than in the studio, but Cal has managed to create a super chilled studio environment and each session felt relaxed, yet productive and a lot of fun. 🤘 Check out the new single Hand Me Down Heart here. Cornelius (Gooseman) Webb is a legend! Not only playing bass on the album, but also helping with charting and arrangement. Going to great lengths to make sure everything was on point with the record. Shout out to my songwriting partner in crime @BenJonesyJones . It was a casual night out in Bastion Bar, Wedgewood where Jonesy introduced me to Cornelius (Gooseman) Webb. We all clicked and bar hopped for a few more rounds. After picking up an acoustic guitar at a friends flat later that night, I drunkenly auditioned what I thought was my best song for Goose. He liked what he heard and it impressed him enough to introduce me to Cal Campbell who eventually ended up producing Alone In Valentine. Funny how the universe works...
