Proof of work It has many meanings to me. I've been blessed to learn from STRONG men throughout my life. Before I found Bitcoin I already knew the importance of proof of work. My Grandpa Paul went through life with a quiet confidence that was infectious. Everytime you were around him you knew you were safe to enjoy the company you were with. His favorite appetizers were Crown Royal and pecans from his farm. He rode this one speed bike 5-40 miles a day depending on his mood. He rode it to church every weekday and I remember that wink and smile every time at Mass when I was in elementary school. He would then ride it to the local coffee shop to hang out with his crew. It was a simple life but a full life. He was in average to below average health at 92 when he crashed the bike below into a ditch and a neighbor brought him home. My Grandma Bert said it was time to stop going on the daily rides. About a month later she took a turn for the worse and his purpose was back...he had to take care of his bride. 73 years of marriage when she passed, 6 children, 21 grandchildren, and 37 great grandchildren. To say I hope to live a life as great and full as my Grandpa would be an understatement. We are celebrating the confidence he bestowed upon us and carrying his legacy forward. My proof of work is making sure that my kids understand the strong roots they come from and that nothing on this planet is given...everything is earned. In this family we work hard to earn our living and our place in heaven when God calls us home. Cheers Grandpa to a life well lived!!! Rest easy unless you're dancing with Grandma in heaven. Love you J
