When you face death in the eye or see the veil of the other side, nothing matters in that moment but the people you care, the memories you missed, the memories you cherished and perhaps the things you wished you have done.
If you are in your deathbed now, what would you wish you've done?
This is not a permission to be reckless.
But rather a permission to treasure nothing else but NOW.
How are you spending your day?
If you are to live 100 years or so, how are you going to spend the remaining of those days?
To think life as "finite" gives you a different appreciation to your day, your weeks and years to come.
You can choose to see the misery in life or see the beauty in it. At the end, it is you who is going to review those memories in your deathbed.
The people you are stressing about, the gov't you despised so much or the investment you wish you did β DO NOT MATTER in your last breath.
You know what matters? How you lived this life time. And every time I do past life regression, as one take his/her last breath, it is the most peaceful and calming moment.
To see it is miraculous and gratifying to be part of that moment.
So what is in your bucket list and what is holding you back from doing it?

When you have been through what it's like to be bullied, to be in a violent toxic relationship, you understand the pain and the suffering it inflicts on somone.
But do not confuse someone's tolerance and compassion as push over.
People who have been through hell may be patient. But the moment you confused their compassion that's when you will get a reality check.
People who have been bruised badly in the past have learned to draw their boundaries clear as day.
Anyone who dares to cross that line is in for a surprise!
People who overcome adversity have zero tolerance for any non-sense!
So if you are still healing from your adversity NEVER for a second think you are weak or you are NOT worth it.
Your courage to walk away is a proof to that.
When you come out from this, you are UNSTOPPABLE.
Hold you head high and pat your back!
You have earned your freedom!

you can NEVER change anyone.
if you think so then you are falling for the potential of that person and not their reality.
if someone tells you: "you changed me". what they mean "you inspired me to change".
you can NEVER take action and show up for them every day but them alone.
so, next time you see someone's potential, remind yourself of the above before committing to anything to save you from any disappointment.
you can only advice and encourage people if they ask for it.
but you cannot change them FOR YOU.

If you think you are irreplaceable, you may want to reflect on that.
Whilst I was going through my health scare, the world moved.
Whist I was screaming in pain, the world didn't notice.
My point?
If you are too scared to get your health check bcoz of work or the project your working on will be delayed then think again.
If you are too worried to take a time off to spend time a well deserved rest or spend time with your family, think again.
If you are too guilty to keep your options open, check the market for career opportunities bcoz you are the key player in your team or you are one of the key decision makers, reflect on that.
Nobody is irreplaceable. The time you miss thinking of what-ifs or skip meetings or god forbid take a time for yourself β can never be returned or worse the regrets will haunt you for the rest of your life.
Whilst you are still debating inside you, the time is already ticking.
You are already missing the precious time that you could have spent with your family or yourself.
Don't let it be too late. Make the time to do the things you always want or plan to do.
Don't let life or circumstance decide for you. π
Control the controllable and be proactive about it. π«

UPDATE to #nostr tribe:
I am recovering nicely. No prescriptions. No pain killers.
I am nearly one month doing my own remedy and I can finally sleep soundly.
I can stand on my own.
I can go to the loo with no assistance.
I can walk for over a mile.
I can do little chores in the house.
Yes, these mundane things we take for granted were the things I couldn't do for nearly a month with sleepless nights.

I'd say comparing yourself to others is the quickest way to be depressed and miserable. We walk different path, have different aspirations and time/chapters in our life.
Does this mean you do not look up on others to inspire yourself? Of course you do. But keep it as "inspiration" and NOT as the "target".
Do you see people who are less fortunate than you? Of course, BUT not to feel some "grandiosity" rather to feel "grateful" for what you have. And these views can easily get misconstrued as "comparing to other people".
Instead, I compare myself to my younger "self".
I am wiser than last year, even wiser than myself 6 yrs ago. π«π

but there are too many conflicting research.
you go vegan. you go carnivore, omnivore, vegetarian, etc.
what food causes insulin spike and why?
what food causes diabetic and why?
Is cholesterol really bad?
are the food suggested by the gov't really healthy and why? etc..
No surprise we are at the mercy of the conventional medicines.
Because they have our best interests at heart right? π
Because they want you to be out of your discomfort even if it means...
putting you on drugs for the rest of your life.π
introducing you to long term illness as long as the immediate discomfort is resolved.π
don't worry about the long-term side effects, it may or may not happen so pray for your luck. π«£
Over the last four weeks, I have never put all my stregth to:
1. educate my limited knowledge about my health,
2. the danger of blind compliance from the prescription drugs the doctors issue to you β all in the name to "cure you" and
3. never believe prognosis as face value β do your own due diligince.
I learned the latter the hard way. If I believed what they said, they would start cutting my organs! That is how f*cked up it was!
