Seems like the obvious answer is by hosting a website with a btcpay store. There are a ton of plebs who would be willing and able to help. You could probably set it up in an afternoon although I’m not sure how feasible managing inventory/shipping would be. Maybe someone else could chime in 🤷♂️

For those who want to pay with #sats, you can already get a Amazon card with sats on #Bisq or something similar and then just pay the book with that. Not ideal but works already. Would be also interested what is state of the art in #BTC Plattforms. #BrokenMoney
I bought Fiat Standard and PoE ebooks from Saifedean website using lightning. Seamless experience. Maybe you can use the same payment API or other related stuff like him.

Not a recommendation, but I'd be interested in an honesty model. Have a free download and a sat price and address and just see what roles in. It would be nice to have a way to donate for people that have to pirate but want to contribute something too.
An Audio option be great
I would like to see an option to buy eBook plus audio option. Audio ideally on some other than Audible platform so we can have proper ownership of it rather than renting rights.

The simplest option would probably just be an LNbits instance with a plugin and put a direct download link behind their paywall link. Share that paywalled link and anyone can purchase the download for a certain amount of sats.

I think the opennode API is fantastic if you wanted to use that right with your website.
Other thing with that though is who would then ship your books, etc, but if that was sorted then should integrate fine with like opennode + woocomerce for your website

You can make them zap this note. Add their address to as the note to the lightning transaction ..
Another option is to write a bot that sends DM to whoever zaps this note certain amount of sats. The DM will have a link to the ebook. Then we have to change the URL of the ebook time to time to avoid mass pirating. The bot should whitelist good lightning wallet providers to avoid fake zap notes to be honored.

How about in the printed version an option to send some sats which contributes to some fund which is used to gift the book others? Academic institutions, LEDCs etc?

I like the idea of using a BTCPay Server for receiving payment. What I haven’t seen is how to hook it up to fulfillment.
I don’t want to handle shipping product myself. There are companies that specialize in this. I’d love to somehow hook it all up end-to-end.
