Gm nostriches, looking ahead to a little teaching today, helping some fundamentally unacademic students get some real world experience, working on starting their own businesses for half a term with the help of mentors and support…………. Brother sent me the opportunity cost of private school and university (in US), but same issue largely, how to tell the kids that not just having a go at a business without the massive loans is the much better option, fail, learn, improve. I can only add so much value to the process. Cognitive dissonance setting on high!!! Going to tell my brother “it’s all about the life experience and network connections his sons will make” Me: right, off to state school, education standard may be shit, but at least I can teach an give you bitcoin I bought with the money I saved on your tuition!!!!

Feeling like some of the marking may have to come home, the university squeeze on time is setting in. Have never had to do this in all the time I’ve been a lecturer. Actually scratch that, the only reason I’m bringing stuff home is because I’m working on my book in the office as it’s more fun!!!

Gm nostriches, catching up on a little Friday night tv with a show I used to enjoy, The Last Leg, so Flippin’ annoying at times. They don’t mention it often, but consistently, why the heck do they choose to open the show with a reference to a 50% bitcoin dip. Someone on the team knows and are choosing to spread the news to an audience, likely media consumers and no coiners, to add a little fear in the mix, because comments like that aren’t really that funny, unless you know a 50% drop from ATH is nothing to worry about. Who is suggesting they put this pro fiat currency propaganda into a show that should be sharing the news. FYI freaks, bitcoin is doing a hell of a lot better in the freedom front than any of your beloved, “safe” fiat currencies. I watch the show to just laugh at how they get so annoyed with so many things, “orange man is awful”, yes, so don’t give him space in your brain!!!

Didn’t hold back, forgot the ceasefire card, but ended with her having 98 game pieces, me with 99 (the imaginary 3rd player only had 40). Felt bad trying quite so hard, but impressed is was so close by the end. Finished with a three eyed snake telling me my turn was over in style. 🫡🙌 Freaks, make time for your kids, these moments won’t last forever (unless you raise your kid and they want to continue with the games as an adult!!!!)
