Is there still anyone here interested in art, or should I just give up and post only on my website, which nobody ever looks at?

When they talk about ‘security’, it’s never mine. When they talk about ‘defence’, they stockpile weapons against me. When they talk about ‘family’, it’s only to control me. When they talk about ‘freedom’, it’s only so they can get away with anything.

Nostr doesn't have an algorithm looking for you while you're gone. No "reactivate your account," no "you've been inactive for 90 days." You hold your keys. You hold your identity. Disappear for months if you need to. Come back when you want — your contacts, your posts, your network, still there. Real digital freedom isn't just speaking. It's also being able to stay silent, without consequences.

New painting, new challenge. For the first time I'm working with nighttime light. American roadside diners, open past midnight, have always fascinated me. This time the subject comes from the TV series FROM — a place you can't leave, where light is the only certainty. Time, silence, light: my three recurring themes, for the first time in the dark. Work in progress.
