I paint in oil. Inspired by time, silence, and light. Each work is unique and for sale in Bitcoin and Monero. → https://isolabellart.it.com Art gallery: https://gallery.isolabellart.it.com
image A day spent applying a protective coat and white acrylic paint. Three paintings finished and others yet to be started. Art in a state of constant change.
Don’t ask for xaps, just as you wouldn’t ask for zaps, if you have nothing to offer. Anyone who has received tips in #Bitcoin or #Monero has helped to make Nostr – even if only in a small way – a better place.
Many of my artworks are my own memories and emotions. But I try to paint them in such a way that they become yours too.
Every now and then, I like to switch off. Because you don’t have to be interesting every single day. You might think that, to be loved, you always have to have the right energy, make people laugh, say the right thing, and sort everything out. Every now and then, you’re allowed to be tired too. You might not know what to say, want to be on your own, sleep a bit longer, or have a bit of time to yourself. Feeling tired isn’t your fault. And looking after yourself doesn’t mean stopping giving to others or helping them. It just means that, amongst all the people you look after, you’re included too. And that’s fine.
If you can't purchase one of my paintings right now but would still like to support my art, in addition to sats, you can also send me small donations in Monero. Thank you for your support. 82beE5AE2rubSvwYFPhqj3AfdLbWtT19MLFQW4Tt6NkVFxBLSatesH93P9VNAR3JE1cyQhHsjFFSc9aa8tgajWiJ1GxCE6Q image
The fact that I accept Bitcoin and, lately, Monero as payment for my original paintings is not a matter of ideology or purism. I know perfectly well that the State already requires me to declare my income even when I’m paid in crypto. It’s just that, for now, my meager earnings are insignificant enough to fly under the radar of the tax authorities’ scythe. I would probably accept USDT as well if I didn’t have to answer to the State for the eight or nine paintings I sell in a year. But for me, the point is something else: to accumulate sats autonomously, with as little bureaucratic friction as possible, in anticipation of a time when I might stop doing a fiat job and devote myself exclusively to painting. That’s why, at this point, I don’t see any coins other than #Bitcoin and #Monero that can actually help me achieve that goal.
Imagine being a Bitcoin influencer today who earns money through sponsorships, and the only thing you can promote is Bitcoin on-chain, because all the other ancillary services are failing and don’t pay you to be sponsored.
I really have no desire to be rich just so I can buy an iPhone or a Ferrari. I want to be rich so that I can be in control of my own time and paint at 3 o’clock on a random Monday afternoon, without having to keep an eye on the clock. To sit in front of a canvas and work on it for hours, simply because I feel like it. To have the time to pop into a café and relax for an hour, watching the rain fall. To be able to cook at home, at my own pace, using fresh ingredients. To be able to spend money on my family and friends without constantly worrying about the budget. That’s my idea of a rich life. Not having more things. Having more time for the things that really matter.
I don’t know if artificial intelligence will kill us all within this decade. But just in case, I’ve always started every request to ChatGPT, Claude e Lumo with ‘please’ and ended every reply with ‘thank you’.
In my opinion, this guy is more bitcoiner than many so-called bitcoiners. Respect. image
-Controversial post- All the various Bitcoin services affected by critical vulnerabilities are apologizing, but none are offering refunds. Apologies are worthless, which is why it's so easy to make them.
