After all the discussions we had about on-chain privacy and the negative effects on the privacy of ALL users when identities are tied to a BTC address you have to put it on the front of the profile? I want to be able to at least opt out of this!!

Sadly you can't opt out of this as each npub is at the same time a Taproot address. What you could try is writing "DO NOT SEND ME ONCHAIN ZAPS" im your profile description as I have done, but this is also no guarantee.
As long as you are using any pubkey, of any type, I can always lock funds to your key in any blockchain. You don't have a choice. We only make that visible to you so that you can decide what to do about it.
I'm not sure I fully understand your post, but it looks like you are addressing your personalized lightning info included in your profile summary, as well as on-chain privacy. Here are two possible solutions, both offerred by privacy-first products. 1. Cake Wallet offers a Lightning implementation that may offer you more privacy. The also have the Silent Payments option for Bitcoin. 2. Edge.app makes private Bitcoin easy by using a Zano smart contract that essentially gives Monero level privacy to BTC.

You are advertising something that most senders didn't know it was possible and most receivers didn't want to use. This should be opt-in to signal the desired receiving method. ๐Ÿซ‚
a pinned static address on a public profile is textbook address reuse. which client is forcing it, and does it at least rotate addresses or is it one fixed address for everyone who looks?
It's also the only method that actually works around here... Lightning fails in about 30% of the time. Cashu even more. So, it's really the only stable method to send zaps we have currently. My big lesson from this is that the past 10 years of Bitcoin development has been a massive lie. Nothing after 2014 really works well and people that claim it's working are massively delusional.
