But also nothing wrong with having some sats in a custodial solution to spend and support bitcoin circular economies.
Calling lightning a failure is just going to discourage more vendors from accepting bitcoin

I didn't call it a failure. And there's nothing wrong with a few sats in a custodial wallet. They're just not yours is all. Lightning is a meaningful improvement to Bitcoin.
