I think ill go the distance with our takedown request, and not comply. The note is fetched client-side, so if they dont want to see the note, they shouldnt fetch from the event id.
If German courts can not differentiate between data hosted on a site, and how nostr works, this will be their opportunity to learn.

This is interesting. We had a takedown request for a post on our njump. We do not host the content, it is pulled from relays using the note id, so it's a bit like blaming a browser for the content after you enter a URL. Any nostr legal council out there?


I LOVE seeing interest specific clients, its something nostr excels at, squishing 2000s forum culture/identity with globalized social media.
People like interest specific online spaces (my tribe etc). Social media generalized spaces, but thirst for culturally specific spaces will always be there.
Skate-spots building for skaters is genius, skaters worldview aligns with open platforms.
