Blue Wallet does a pretty good job for an on-chain mobile wallet. Has coin control which most wallets lack. View quoted note →

Bitcoin is for anyone. It’s use by the Iranian government proves it’s censorship resistance and decentralization. Properties that are useful for individuals, civil society and resistance movements but can also be used by authoritarians and financial speculators. Same with AI, the internet and any other technology. It’s still fascinating to me how Bitcoin‘s playbook comes to life. A lot of people will fight it - it’s Bitcoin against a huge system - and it might take another decade or more until it is accepted as the neutral alternative technology that it is.

Kapitalverkehrskontrollen, Kontosperrungen und hohe Inflation sind in vielen Ländern Afrikas seit Jahren Alltag - in Europa sehen wir erste ähnliche Tendenzen.

Instead of governments stopping Apple and Google from engaging in egregiously anti-competitive behavior, they're directly participating in locking out competition via their own services. Requiring people to have an Apple device or Google-certified Android device is anti-competition, not security. View quoted note →

I am boycotting these conferences too. Main speakers are a lot of government officials and it seems they threw out people with „Free Samourai“ signs. This is not the Bitcoin I advocate for. image

Someone is losing his nerves and thinks that forking bitcoin and assigning Satoshi‘s coins to accredited investors is a good idea! Calling it Ecash! The next guy who thinks he can do it better. Have fun. View quoted note →

Governments and traditional financial institutions will fight P2P Bitcoin everywhere. What’s not regulated will be banned. Bitcoin gives security and security is a human right! Resist! View quoted note →

Building skills and everything on Claude Cowork at the moment, I assume this will happen too. That’s why I am setting it up so that I have the skills and all resources in folders on my computer and can exit anytime. View quoted note →

The financial industrial complex doesn’t like unregulated peer-to-peer exchange of money, because it endangers their profits. Our privacy and freedom is not in their interest. The authorities are complicit, because it’s all a system. View quoted note →

I set up Cowork to build .md files for my blog articles. I wanted it to create the formatting and structure, propose title and meta description. I trained it on 15 of my published articles - it immediately created 5 publishing ready long form articles in 5 min. When I write myself I need 3 days or more for a long form article. It’s convenient to use AI, but I want to hear from a human, not a machine that is puzzling things together. That’s why I write myself and then ask LLMs for logical failings and to enhance my English. image

Your bitcoin on an exchange are not your bitcoin. Self-custody is the way. image
