This is pretty interesting. I think ironically what he is describing is a world where white men are getting a huge advantage because they are being told immediately after college that they should not attempt to become academics or screenwriters or journalists. Everyone else isn’t told this and is going to suffer horribly if they make a decision to do one of these things.
