Keeping bees in horizontal hives and avoiding traders/scammers who want to โ€œteachโ€ me to make money. BTC ONLY! Also, no responses or attention given to snarky, obviously alt/anon/attention seeking profiles... just block and move on. If you don't comment with a real profile, sorry but I don't have time for you.
#GMnostr #truckstr Yesterday was 77F in Denver, CO... Today we get this! Ugg ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿคฃ image
#GMnostr #truckster going to need to tweak it more, but can already tell it helps! ๐Ÿ˜ image
#homesteading #GMnostr new addition to the farm... Gravity drain diesel tank, cost $240 including new hose and filter. Coop wanted to raise rental of the white barrel to $135/year image
#GMnostr pretty day starting off here in #Missouri! Got 5 horses visiting... And their Amish owners, putting gutters on the shop finally as well as a second downspout on the back of the house. Got the 4" drain tubing to move the water away from the shop and the patio. One day I plan to switch to rain catchment, but for now this is the plan. Sounds like I mauly be able to get a 15,000 concrete cistern delivered and installed for aroung $5-6k, so a goal for the future along with the solar array getting installed! #homesteading ๐Ÿ˜Š image
#GMnostr #beestr Am excited that in about 2-3 weeks will be arriving flat packed kits for 2 more hives and 2 large swarm traps! At $350/hive and $80 per trap, I can barely buy the materials now to make them for that price! Each kit is CNC cut and includes frames, doors, etc. Everything but the stainless wire to string the frames and the tin sheeting for the roof flashing. Plus, made out of cabinet grade plywood, so should all have a tight fit and look really nice. I will try to post pics of the builds... ๐Ÿ˜ #honeythread
#GMnostr #truckstr First delivery in Indiana, on my last day with this company! Next week brings changes, so hopefully we can once again have chickens! โค๐Ÿ˜ image
#GNnostr #permies #homesteading second burn of the biochar retort... Beautiful to see it burn at night! Feel a bit easier about no fires since wife already started a grass fire earlier and blackened all around here. Sadly, it also got into about 10 rows of saplings planted last year, so we'll see how many survive... ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜ฅ Here are a few bones and partial deer skull to cook tonight. A couple large ribs, leg bones and shoulderblades too!
