That’s big news 🗞️
Imagine thinking that this would happen just 12 months ago! Wild how good we've got it now. Wild that price has barely moved in 12 months!

It is wild, pretty crazy and worrying. The reason why I don't like the USD, is not the paper it is printed on, the name nor the medium. It is the deceiving people behind.

Ocean.xyz will dry up without your hash. Please point your miners to us.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Just using it as a "slam" against political opponents. Bitcoin doesn't care and, apparently, neither do I. *yawn*
Luke’s mental health might be in decline. I’m pretty sure his physical health has been declining for a decade.
Peak autism? Luke hasn’t been physically performant for a decade. Could his mental health be declining?

Luke is extremely stressed out about Bitcoin Core V30. I'm not sure what level of alarm to assign to this, BIP 444, the shitty Core Devs ... and the status of my stack. Perhaps Bessent and his cohort are the true backers of Core V30. I dunno.
why, because he actually cares about the network and wants it to be for monetary transactions?
If core had the power to destroy Bitcoin, it was doomed from the beginning🤣

some people stop listening to new music or updating their wardrobe style… Lukes mental model of bitcoin use never changed, so he has to fork after 16 years of cope lol image
Luke is 100% right. That hash rate has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS. Saying "hurrr duur the hashrate is high that means we should turn Bitcoin into a childporn hosting service" Is fucking absolutely retarded and you should be ashamed of yourself @ODELL for pushing this shit

Without a doubt .. there are heavy players on the scene. It's sort of a shame that retail never really got going. Even if retail bought and just stored on Swan/River/Strike ... we would have been in better shape. What is irksome, now, is the nonchalance of several podcasters and personalities that I follow. It can only be explained by their being "on the take." They're technically way more advanced than I am .. and yet ... not even motivated to address the issue with seriously . I would have expected a 3rd version of Node software by now .... promulgated by people who oppose Core but are no fans of Luke either. Maybe these are all the peeps running Core version <30 .. who actually constitute the overwhelming majority at this point in time.

@ODELL said he was going to fund a third version. I think it’ll takes sometime time to come through. Ya I’m waiting for that too.

Bitcoin is for enemies though
think he is just being honest. the largest dev group is compromised and the the hash rate is centralized among sect few companies

Has CSW taken over Luke's account?
Yup. I don't like it. but that does not give me the right to tell people what the heck they can do with their monies.

Thank you. I cannot figure who the retards are who want this shit…..but nor do I care……1Btc = 100,000,000 sats. What am I missing?
As long as someone pays everything is fine. That's the kind of mindset the fiat era has brought us. Any sense for right and wrong has gone as long as it pays. How much too come to your house and shit on your floor? I bet you would be happy to allow it if they pay you well, right?

so if I go to a business offering girls to be raped and I pay the fee, I have the right to do so because I paid the fee?

Is a the witness field generally larger in spam txns or financial ones? If larger, why does bitcoin give spam a discount? If smaller, the spam fees are in consequential.
Permissionless and a right aren’t the same thing. You seem to not understand my question. Sorry if you got triggered by your own words.

The problem is how to properly calculate price when the cost is imposed on all node runners
I didn’t misunderstand you being a retard with you words. First it’s a right then it’s not. Calling anything permissionless they requires change In core code is also retard. I was actually trying to get to an intelligent conversation but you’re hell bent In showing how far left of the bell curve you are. 🫡
anyone willing to pay to put spam on the blockchain can do so at their own discretion - period; I can’t presume to know what’s right or wrong, as no-one should suppose to do so it is a right, but not granted by anyone run core; run knots; run *an* iteration - it does not matter
It’s absolutely a permission granted by core devs. I honestly thought that was the point you were trying to make but obviously not. Anything that makes it harder for new users to run a node shouldn’t be ignored. Core and knots both have their issues, we need more options and non retarded users who don’t ignore attack vectors. You are actually make the exact same argument as csw but don’t seem to realize it, or you’re just as fucked up. Not really sure at this point
I tend to agree first it’s a right, then it’s not. Then I don’t understand bitcoin. Now he’s too dumb to have an opinion on what anyone does with bitcoin. More a circle jerk than a discussion.
Its not a right. Here I just got finished tapping this out :

Wrong. Putting spam on bitcoin is not a "right." Since spam is hard to define, I'll put it like this : you don't have a right to make a financial transaction. You have a right to offer a transaction, and others have a right to refuse or not. So pay the miners and abide by the rules the node runners set forth. Or fuck off with your shitcoinery. Of course, for someone who doesn' run a node, doesn't own BTC, and is a puppet of venture capitalists and politicians. May they burn in hell, traitors!

This is complete bullshit and I don't care about miners. Blowing out OP_Return is introducing spam to the blockchain .. same as BSV did and they're all loaded with CSAM. The maggots at Core are all getting paid by Citrea, they're shit-coiners who probably don't own Bitcoin.
Citrea doesn't depend on Op_return, they can use use unspendable taproot outputs instead and bloat the UTXO set, I think that's actually how it's currently implemented but haven't checked. You'll care about miners if there's only one or two big ones that no one can compete with and the State can just hijack to mine empty blocks. Bring able to estimate fees correctly is also pretty important. And aside from all this, if people actually wanted a viable alternative to Core and weren't just mindlessly following a renegade cult because it makes them feel good then they'd use libbitcoin not knots.
