It sucks that there are people here who call space and space travel fake. They are so fixated on hating "the government" that they cannot see that "the government" is made up of many different parts with hundreds of thousands of humans. Your distrust in one area doesn't need to be reinforced in another simply because they share the label. Also, just the sheer lack of critical thinking is disappointing. Luckily, we have mute buttons.

NASA and SpaceX makes me bullish on humanity. The amount of talent that goes into pulling off space missions is insane. The engineering required not to screw up one little thing that derails the entire mission is mind-boggling. It's humbling to know humans are capable of this.

I think it's a mistake to marry the 2 concepts as if they were one. Nostr didn't start with zaps. Zaps are not core to nostr experience. They are interesting, and free speech can use free money, but it should not be the default experience for all new users. Luckily, clients can decide what is core to their UX and what's not, but not all users should have to care about a lightning address and "helpful" tips are not all that helpful if you're not planning on zapping on nostr. Interest (hashtag) based feeds are so useless for onboarding. You have a handful of spammers spamming pretty much every hashtag. I don't see any way around that other than just following some people. Kind of sad that a few people are ruining first time experience for everyone. Same with Rizful that constantly spams new users about lighthing addresses. Scum.

Are there clients that handle 1984 reports intelligently? I wish relays handled them instead so I wouldn't have to...
