cool! I just started getting back into fasting and will be playing around with dry fasting soon. It's supposed to speed up autophagy and some folks find it easier than water fasting.
Whenever I get past 24 hr I get a massive headache, maybe need the gatorades without calories

I assume you informed yourself about fasting before? (Quite a few people think fasting is just stopping food for however long.) The body needs cleansing and slowly adjusting into fasting. A week to max10 days should be fine for a healthy person. Then a recognised and slow return to normal diet. Everything else can do more harm than good.
1 a day meals is about the best I've been comfortable with. I think probably dangerous to go over 24 with the physical labor i do for work

@jack mallers highly recommend you check out Don Layman’s work on protein in conjunction with fasting. I know you’re on top of it, but good literature.
I'm sure it's individual! I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but if I were I think dry fasting would not be much fun. If I try it, I'll post about it on Nostr.

I'm on hour 62 out of 72hrs of my very first fast :) . Hardest was the 2nd dinner time, yet will make it to 72 🤘

Gonna start trying to do periodic fasting. I want to reduce or get completely off medication for type 2 diabetes. I really like eating so this is going to take some discipline. Not over weight. careful. your body might suffer, but it will tell you, that you are doing fine, so that you can keep going (e.g. finding food). Same applies for near death experience. think about it and stay healthy. we need you.

Body actually requests 1ml per kcal, when fasting it will requests significantly less because it doesn't need water to digest. However is summer, you are losing more liquids.. I cannot do a fast with 0.5 L water a day.. but when cold outside that's the normal body requirement.( Or even less)
Fasting is so much easier while drinking lots of plasma (water with added unrefined sea salt). It helps the body with the cleansing. Look for Darko Velcek on youtube or bitchute.
i just came up short of it. i think because i have a fatty liver, i was very warm and quite wobbly. ended up eating way too much food and that went straight through like 3 hours all gone. i'm also going to target a 72h every month beginning of the month from now on. first time i did 3 days the benefits were intense. this time, idk, something i'm eating didn't help, i am suspecting UHT milk

Did a 48 hr once. I had a hard time with it. Heard the 24-48 is the hardest however

How did you deal with the stomach pains, headaches and general discomfort? Did you incorporate fats? kinda like a keto thing? Did you take activated charcoal, or some other binding agent to help with detoxing all the nasties that get dumped in your bloodstream? Do elaborate.

if your metabolism is using fat for energy, there are no headaches or hunger - you might feel a little hungry for a few minutes but it just goes away...most Ive done is 48 hr but my next goal is 72

After experimenting with fasting off and on for years, I don't do over 36 hours anymore. Somewhere between there and 48 hours I get cold. If you got cold, your thyroid hormones started going nuts. This is the "starvation mode" where your metabolism slows drastically. Dead slow metabolism is not good for you and is why many dieters struggle with yoyoing weight and every diet getting harder to see results. You'll do better for your long term health to refeed and then start a new 36 hour fast. The long numbers for fast times are just like any other health fad. Fasting is good and a few influencers pick it up and start shilling it for views. Then everyone has to escalate to stay on top of the view charts so the easy escalation is to promote longer and longer fasts. But what do I know? I'm just a martial artist who noticed that even though I felt great sitting around at 84 hours past 36 hours I start getting my ass kicked by people I usually beat easily. So I started digging more into the science. Turns out an endorphin dump isn't always good. Performance is a better measure than sensation. Remember that people feel warm right before they freeze to death. They feel so warm that people who froze to death are often found naked.
My girl is really big on fasting. Also it helps to start new growth and regeneration
