While I'm on the topic of putting the dirty in dirty hippie...
I decided to see how long I could wear the same wool shirt every day without washing or stinking. The criteria was wife approved after a direct hit of armpit. All I did to keep it "clean" was hang it on the clothesline for 30-45 minutes when I went for a shower, if it wasn't rainy that day. Clothesline time was early enough to be in the sun in addition to airing it out. I made it 12 days.
A man of data not anecdote, I was interested to retry the experiment and put on a clean identical wool shirt the next day. I spilled food on myself while cooking on day 1.
