My 6yo uses one of our old phones for playing games and streaming. He has a level of addiction. I’m not concerned though. Off the back of some parental settings, I believe he is learning how to use tech, getting exposed to pop culture, testing freedom and exploration, and will discover under his own steam all the junk, slop, and scamming that’s out there. I believe this is a better approach than restricting altogether. He still gets out and plays sports etc.

So cycle dead. So don’t need to discuss it anymore 👌🏻

Just walked past a group of entirely white kids at the local skate park, calling each other nigga. Not in a brotherly sense either.. I also see it graffitied around the place. Far more than would be expected for a fairly safe and tolerant area. The only reason I suspect that the term is still reaching our kids, is through African-American ‘role models’ like hip hop artists or influencers. It’s a totally imported word that really should have run its course. I can’t accept it is coming from the parents.

Here’s an idea.. maybe the decent Jews and Muslims should sort out their extreme associates. It’s no wonder anti-semitism and Islamophobia exists when they behave the way they do. Same applies to any group of people.

I’d like to see the quantum-proofing plans ramp up. Not out of fear. Think it will divert wasted focus on price, macro, treasury companies bullshit.. and give the community a proper crack at working collaboratively toward something that matters

So America fukd its manufacturing by becoming world reserve currency, shipping it offshore.. and now they’re trying to win the AI race that will kill their white collar workforce. Seems like a precarious position to be in.

Just saw a group of students from the local school walking the streets, supervised by a teacher, collecting rubbish.. Think it’s a great initiative 👏🏻👌🏻, and should be implemented at all schools as a daily task. Take from the redundant fact regurgitation being taught in the classroom. Teach them to be productive, touch grass, develop an appreciation and responsibility for their community.
