Is there a way to donate bitcoin to a charity that doesn’t accept explicitly accept bitcoin without converting to cash and incurring a tax burden?

This is a picture of an IED pressure plate from Zabul Province Afghanistan spring of 2013. I personally know the guy who took the picture. Not saying it was on purpose, but im curious how much money and resources ended up in the Talibans hands.
