we need Strike everywhere on the planet
When refinancing a loan, do you need to post new collateral to release the existing collateral or can it just roll over into the new term?
As much Id want that too, unfortunately no company on earth can do this as they are subject to local regulations :(

Wait, can I now close my Bank Account and switch to strike?
Just moved my DCA over to Strike 🎳 Previously used the largest exchange in Australia. Good riddance to that Shitcoin Shop! When debit card??
Like a direct link on their website to an apk. Maybe it's possible to release it opensource AND with reproducible builds, but probably it would require a lot more work from their side.

Echo the debit card request
i would love a virtual debit card number at some point. i already use Strike as my bank account, but there are a couple edge cases (sending my daughter money via cash.app for example) where it would be handy to have a "debit" card. Probably not worth the hassle on your end, and maybe I can just do a Privacy.com virtual card with Strike as the source (haven't tested yet). Keep up the great work though, Strike is the f**king best.

> no fees on direct deposit conversions If you deposit bitcoin instantly converted to fiat you most definitely have fees but you just hide it in the exchange rate
I need the ability to set up simple paywalls to sell ebooks, using Lightning or on-chain Bitcoin. If Strike took a small fee for processing the transitions that made it worth it for you guys, I would be super interested in setting up paywalls with you.

Excellent work, it just makes sense... I've got an recurring deposit setup and a DCA setup for when the deposit arrives which takes advantage of the 'no fee dca'. This illiminates a step. ✅
Bitcoin loans for individuals who can't front 20k usd liquidity. Average individuals who want to leverage their stack and live off bitcoin.
Majority of our revenue comes from our brokerage and revenue business. We’ve also been able to stack over 1,500 BTC along the way so we also have a big balance sheet for the age/size of the business

Hey, i love what youve built and i use it. It just bothers me the realization that all newbies that come into bitcoin are shown an easy, convenient, KYC method of purchasing it. This should not be the default. If strike could offer a non KYC exchange, that would be the killer feature
I think you have done everything I can think of, but I won’t know for sure until I go through tax season. I know Strike has the necessary reports, but anything you can do to make filing taxes while living on bitcoin, is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
i need to be able to use it as a legal long term residence (visa & registration) in Germany but German government is too great to even care to issue me an EU ID card! i don't understand why you guys don't allow that??

All your "Crossing the Chasm" models are destroyed. The most competitive technologists in Bitcoin are consistently shipping upgraded experiences to customers. FOR FREE. Never before have we seen these kinds of features immediately become the new table stakes to compete. Bitcoin companies are competing with each other by ruthlessly executing on improving the onboarding experience to a protocol with network effects that serves 8 billion people. "Gradually then suddenly" is another way to say "there will be no chasm." View quoted note →

I've just looked through the app. I take it this isn't available in the UK yet?

I guess I’m going back to Strike, I went to fold to be a plus member but they never came out with a credit card either and fees to transfer ₿itcoin off, thanks Strike!

Stick with your current path. If you build it, they will come. Don't fight government, just prove to the people that the system works, and the voters will destroy any government that tries to get in your way.
Jack bro, we love you! Quickly… the majority of Colombians and I imagine the global south can’t get verified on Strike, they do not have addresses and this service bills. How do we bank the unbanked? How do we bring Strike financial services to those who need it most. Thank you bro, I know you are doing your absolute best for humanity and we salute you! Big love x

Id ask KYC free but then you couldnt operate in the US
The trend for exchange fees is only going one way, as a commodity style business What I like most about your approach is the fact, unlike most shitcoin casinos, you have hunted for revenue from altcoins Good luck building things out in the profitable areas! And boom, 1500 btc is a great war chest to work with. I wonder, do you sell that position down to fund new areas? Or lend against it? How we finance startups is forever different in the Bitcoin age
depends on the expense obviously but i don’t ever plan to sell our bitcoin. borrowing against it or even equity financing is better than selling the bitcoin in almost every scenario
Not quite right.. It's a bridge thats easy to cross. Its utilizing the efficiency of the blockchain to literally send money around the world in minutes, if not seconds.. But we pay for the privilege. And since the world is loaded with fiat, you have to eat at that trough..... For now....
I'd ask when New York... But I suppose we're waiting to clean house at NYDFS and abolish the BitLicense before New York can adopt Bitcoin.
Yeah, I just use my CC as debit cards and pay in full. Never pay any interest. Gemini is not BTC only which is annoying. Would love a clean Strike interface.
You guys do great work, incredibly hard problem to solve. But I’m sure you agree that the KYC has become beyond ridiculous and we need to find a solution.
Ok...#1 the ability to add your personal cold storage xpub into strike so if you self transfer, it's not seen as a sale and @strike automatically documents as your personal wallet rather than manually inputting via your new tax reporting feature.
And #3...ACH deposits for businesses. A setup similar to personal account direct deposit. Enter routing number...account number... Boom! Money is in your business account.
Strike has done good work, but today I leave Strike behind, as of tomorrow they stop supporting anything previous to Apple iOS v17. My perfectly functioning older iPhone can’t be updated to this version and I’m not buying a new iPhone just to continue using Strike, and besides I need to get more serious about buying non-KYC btc anyways. See ya…

This move is truly a milestone for Bitcoin adoption. Removing fees on DCA and direct deposit conversions creates a seamless, frictionless experience, especially for users building a steady Bitcoin accumulation strategy. Unlimited on-chain withdrawals are a key step toward user financial sovereignty and independence from traditional banking systems. These initiatives enhance both scalability and real access to Bitcoin. Excited to see what additional technical features you’ll roll out to further improve the hodler experience and expand the ecosystem.
Incredible. Recently applied for a role with you guys. Hoping to join the team

Please lower rates on BTC levered loans. It doesn’t make sense when you hold the most valuable asset as collateral.

I use Bisq but liquidity, at least in Europe for €, is ridiculously low
Make the app available in Switzerland would maybe help Swiss merchants.

I know. You in jail would not help at all lol. I meant not to build it within Strike the company, but I was thinking whether it’s possible to use part of the infrastructure you’ve built, open source it, and create an aggregator P2P marketplace that unites forces with things like Bisq, Robosats, HodlHodl or now I’m reading about Nostro We don’t need individual, disconnected P2P markets. We need the power of network effects. A buyer should not care whether the seller has created an offer in market X or in market Y. But I’m not a dev, I don’t know if that’s feasible or not
An actual FI that provides Chaumian ecash. It's an amazing application of BTC, but it really should be implemented by an actual banking service. That could be Strike. Providing cash is one of the most basic services of banks. Why does it have to be in paper form?
Might have to move all my payments back to Strike now. At this point living on zero fiat would only cost me 0.89% on outgoing payments... Happy to see the incoming conversion fee waived.
Random question, would this also apply to loan disbursements directed to Strike? i.e. If one took our a HELOC and directed the proceeds to Strike with a 100% automatic bitcoin conversion set for incoming payments, would there be a fee for that conversion?
Oh sorry, didn't realize this response was a comment on my own note. 😂 I am actually a Ledn customer and have used them to obtain a lower interest rate on debt balances I've been hodling. Really like their services, their team, and their ethos.
Very excited to eventually use the same service from strike so I can distribute risk between businesses that I have the most faith in.

Respectfully, you’re wasting your breath. Plenty of people are paying those rates. Go to Coinbase if you want a cheaper and riskier rate.

Risk? He gets bitcoin if the loan defaults. What are you even talking about?

Yeah idk how you misunderstood when I put risk and Coinbase in the same sentence…
What method are you using to pay off the loan? Or are you just continuously rolling it? I ask, because I’ve been earning more bitcoin than fiat lately and need to starting paying shipping, supplies, etc
High Yield Savings Account for Fiat, Debit Card, and Flexa/Spedn integration would make the rails to using Bitcoin smoother in day to day life. I have to use different services, and tools for everything, and it's friction. It would be cool to set denomination amounts for how much of direct deposit you want into sats, or dollar amounts rather than percent split. I want to acquire a set amount of sats consistently so it grows on a predictable pattern rather than an unpredictable amount. I'd like to use the Direct Deposit feature to add ~10,000 sats/week instead of a variable amount.
Oh, forgot to mention privacy preserving withdrawals like Silent Payments, or Coinjoin, or Payjoin, etc.
I've just been rolling it. My oldest loan with them is around a year and a half old, and I've already been able to withdraw excess collateral a few times. While not financial advice, my method was to take the loan using half of the proceeds to purchase additional bitcoin. This way, after the bitcoin price doubled, the original loan could be paid basically be paid off using the sats purchased. I took my initial loan at ~67k though, and wouldn't recommend using this strategy at this point. I could pay it off at any point, but at this point have opted to just observe the market and hodl the debt for now.
