Good night nostr, had a great day except we had to endure a little family drama earlier. I dont have much patience for all that, so i removed myself from it as soon as possible. All i'll say is that if you're gonna let your 18 yr old decide where they go to college, without any parental guidance, you should be prepared to pay for it. Of course, the kid wants to go out of state, to a private school. Asking others to help pay is completely and absolutely inappropriate. Yall have a good evening friends. #KidsNeedParentalGuidance

Good morning nostr, besides church this morning, i havent decided what i'll be doing later. Might just do some watering and spreading hay, we'll see. We're getting quite a bit of okra now, and still getting tons of chile piquin peppers. Seems like every year is "the year of.....", and this year its peppers for me. Good morning nostr, looking forward to visiting 2 farmers markets today and stocking up on a few things. I love farmers markets cuz you never know what you might find. Beyond that, i'll be watering plants and adding hay to the beds. Lately i've been using cut hay from our fields as mulch or groundcover, and i like it. Keeps me from having to go get mulch at the recycle place, plus i think adding material from our own property is good. Good night nostr, its finally time to relax, make some popcorn, and find a movie to watch. I'm enjoying looking at the shape of the oak trees that we uncovered after many years of overgrowth around the base. So much thorny briar, grapevines, and yaupons that the main oak trunks were hidden. They are beautiful to look at. Yall have a good evening friends. #homesteading #trees
