Returned to nostr in December after a hiatus since 2023.
Is it kinda void-y compared with other socials? A bit... but some of the interactions are of far higher quality.
Going to make a concerted effort to be more active here this year. Am back to hosting a public relay and other nostr infrastructure to encourage myself to stick around.

But Nostr is the void. You're supposed to scream into it until it consumes you. Then you've finally initiated into becoming a dev 😊

A outra é a troca de dados sensiveis criptografados em eventos para orientação de dados em fazendas de pesquisa de sensores espalhados, eliminando o uso de vpns. Assim um sensor "publica" o evento em um relay especifico, em dados estruturados criptografados, apenas o server desse sensor pode usar os dados.

I just "officially" joined a few days ago, but had tried it out a few years back. Went the mastodon route for a while (even ran my own node there) but I haven't been active on any short form social media in a while. However, would love to change that.
I don't wish to waste my time and attention on centralized platforms.. nostr FTW!
Still here. At this point am more into the tech. To me Nostr feels like x without the shadowbanning but with about the same freedom of reach.

Hey, it's not that bad. I've been on nostr for quite some time and my impression is that it is alive and well. Maybe it is smaller than centralized platforms, but who wants to read about Bitcoin and client development the whole day, amirite?

“On the outside” I make a bit more money if I’m active on social media. I hate it. This doesn’t feel like social media. Bitcoin, food, people making things, and finding people who make high quality things I can use - it’s great!

we tested zaps on this note… we made six attempts to⚡zap this note, at lightning@cfultz.com, over a period of about 2 hours. in each case, we found that your lightning address server did not respond correctly. (the failure point was when we did a get request to your specified callback url: https://getalby.com/lnurlp/rejuvenationcharming807338/callback ). your server did not produce an invoice, thus the zap failed. the error we got was "Recipient wallet error. Please contact the recipient.". if you wanted to fix this... you could try getting a free rizful lightning address -- ... if u get it set up, pls reply here so we can do this ⚡zap test again.
