I am rediscovering the love for fish. While i can only cook 2-3 recipes (ie: spicy asian or mediterranean), it's 3 times cheaper than at the restaurant, and tastes better as well. image

Why is the US chaging clocks for daylight savings on Match 8, while the rest of the world does it on march 30?

IVF Update: we received an email this morning informing us that yesterday we got 5 eggs, from those 5 were mature and today we have 4 successfully fertilized. The last time we did it, we had 100% fertilization rate. At this stage, there is a 50% chance we get 1 or 0 embryo. We are already planning 2nd round and we are picking up the drugs. This morning, we went to the clinic to retrieve my wife's egg. We got there at 7h45am. 8h15am she was sedated and by 8h45, the doctor came back. The left ovary ovulated and only 5 eggs were retrieves on the right ovary. I collapsed in tears of sadness. We were already thinking of going through another cycle (the 3rd) next month. Low numbers mean lower chances of having a healthy embryo. image

It sadens me to see Spanish farmers having to protest in Madrid today. The mercosur agreements will forever kill Europe. The EU autocratie must stop.

My wife just had her trigger shot around 8.20pm. The egg retrieval is scheduled for 8am on thursday, and she is balooning. As of now, around 14 follicles have been identifies by ultrasound. Last time, only the left ovary could be accessed, and 8 follicles were extracted. From there, we managed to get 1 embryo, that resulted in a miscariage. My dad is 77 years old, and, like many boomers his age, he believes everything the French government / state, says on TV. Right now, it's clear that France and Western Europe are leading an information war against USA and Trump. There is plenty of material to help with the narrative: "greenland", "epstein", "ICE", "tariffs" etc. USA is doing the same with the EU. Trump isn't an angel, and European politicians aren't saints either. I fear that what they really want is to turn us against each others, so that a large conflict erupts and reset the system. The Shanghai Chinese Orchestra performed at Madrid's **National Music Auditorium** (Auditorio Nacional de Música) as part of the official **Chinese New Year 2026** celebrations (Year of the Horse). They adapted their rhythms beautifully when incorporating traditional Chinese instruments like the **pipa**, and delivered a particularly flamboyant fusion piece blending Chinese elements with **flamenco** style — a real highlight! 20 euros very well spent. 🎶🐎

I was in Segovia, Spain, and all of a sudden, that happened in the steet. It made me think that North America is the only place in the world where traditional culture is close to inexistent. Why is that the case?
