But i am worry about this network protection, and the "noise" bots could do, even to you.
Mass notification, following, perhaps one day mass haters ?
I don't think it could happen with human hater because you can mute them easily.
But with bot it is not the same story.
I don't think there is enough protection yet, hope this will change someday.

I couldn't agree more. Mass adoption is high time preference thinking based on the same fallacies that gave us hyperscale and hyperreality. I don't want more of that slop, I want a medium that promotes human freedom, agency, and purpose.
how do i find this quality on nostr, as a newbie its a lot of nothing or bitcoin slop but I know i’m doing it wrong because i find some good shit here and there

There's no algorithm so you have to do all the work yourself to find interesting people to follow.
It takes time. Following hashtags of topics you're interested in helps. The global feed is mostly full of shit but you do sometimes find some gems to follow.
It does get better with time and effort. It gets way better than the algorithmic feeds from for-profit social media companies.
People fade it because their social media of choice has reached network effect, and the nostr engagement has not matured... as you say, so what. It's a great place to be... glad it's my go to.
You have to switch your thinking, things can work the other way around on Nostr. Ive have yet to nail down the right words/metaphore, but il take a swing.
On a platform, they determine the online reality; everything that passes their gates is now part of that world, and in second instance you can chose what to actively ignore.
Here, its the other way around; you determine your online reality; the people you follow, the relays you use etc. and in second instance you can decide to broaden your horizon.
The difference is in the fact that a Nostr client is this 'active' thing facing the chaos, instead of a 'passive' interface for a central (supposed) order.
Not saying all current clients totally nail this, and that its easy and without problems, risks or whatever. But on Nostr the default is that everything is fake, everything is spam, everyone is a bot and its all noise; but you actually equiped to navigate the mess.
I worry it could become a cesspit of human degeneration if fully adopted

I’d much rather it this way than the traditional social media engineered to rot our mind.
nostr is still quick hit info but it’s not someone else’s interests driving my experience. so it makes sense that with that freedom/control I would need to put in some effort to curate my feed.
The mute button can help keep your stream full of signal.

Testing zaps for this note… we made six attempts to⚡zap this note, using your lightning address starting with "lingeringsunset88", over a period of about 3 hours. In each case, we found that your lightning address server did not respond correctly. (The failure point was when we did a GET request to your specified callback URL: https://getalby.com/lnurlp/lingeringsunset88/callback ). Your server did not produce an invoice, thus the zap failed. The error we got was "Recipient wallet error. Please contact the recipient.". You might want to look into using a cloud-based Lightning node which is optimized for Nostr zaps, to get your zaps working.
