It is strange how common algorithmic psychosis is on social media. It becomes strange when it convinces others to dedicate themselves to poisoning the minds of others with the politics of good vs. evil. What a predictable outcome too. The algorithm is totally binary. You either post or don't post. You view or don't view. You engage or don't engage. So naturally, large swaths believe they are good. I mean, after all, how could one simply settle with being evil?

Good morning! I have updated the language learning app with a cool app-wide change. I think this is the last major update I’ll make in a while because I am TIRED but I’m also happy and proud of its progress. In a nutshell, I've introduced a memory system and more advanced adaptive learning assistant to the app. So now when you get things wrong across any learning modality, the app will store that and save it for the next day's quest. The next day's quest will then produce a repair task in the daily quest, using one to two days of insights, that will have users go through quick bite sized lessons using the existing learning modalities to review and correct those mistakes, followed by the rest of the daily quest to tackle new material. With this, the app feels more complete and much more like I envisioned - every part feels makes sense now. The pets will welcome users with a message explain what and why they're working on what they're working on, levels unlock different pets, daily goals are tracked and represented instead of streaks and no feature really exists in isolation anymore. For example, before, the amount of XP/level you had was just a number that went up, but now it can unlock a companion. Learning modalities, pets, and XP/levels all work together to reinforce learning and have users discover new things, and overall it just feels like a stronger personal tutor that grows and works with you. I also went ahead and updated the pet models so they feel better animated and more unique.

The language learning app is getting there.

Nostr really is a time capsule of the internet. Most of us never bother to influence one another or seek engagement nor can we really even if we tried. Often times we have enormous differences in beliefs, politics and behaviors but we just come here because we want to spend time here & with each other anyway.

I fear that Mexico will lose today by way of divine judgement and acts of God due to Mexican fans attempting to disrupt the Ecuadorian team’s sleep at their hotel. This thunderstorm and delay seems to indicate it.

Working on somewhat of a big upgrade to my language learning app Basically revamping how notes work. They automatically get created by an AI when you make mistakes so it reinforces the lessons for the next day So basically introducing a memory system and enhancing the companion to be responsible for it

Added multi-modal learning with daily quests in my language learning app. Now all learning modes are tied into one user experience so users can learn and grow using various methods.

I never celebrated this but the other day I hit 1000 MAUs for the first time.

Thinking of adding a "daily plate" feature to my language tutor. Basically, it'll be a home page for users that creates a guided experiences of all the different learning modalities and essentially gives users a daily quest to practice and learn. Super early version of this in the image but i'd be adding more overall user progress and data for them to be welcomed to.
