i look ahead and miss the opportunities right now
Be fair and impartial,
both in good times and bad,
towards others and yourself.
For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.
signal and feedback
the more you protect something, the weaker it is
just bought a can opener for $1.50
got some coffee and adding espresso cost $1.50
crazy to me that these two cost the same to make and sell.
good thoughts, good words, good deeds
laws get interesting when they tell you to do something for the safety (or interest) of others.
for example, it’s raining and I’m driving on the highway and I just saw a sign saying “Wipers on, it’s the Law!”
Now this is makes total sense, but the essence is it’s telling you (forcing you) how to use your property. *do we truly own anything in this world.
Obviously we live in a society and that’s the whole point of laws, to coexist safely and peacefully. But just interesting how society and freedom clash.
We’ve done a noble job trying to balance the two. And it’s swung both ways throughout history. So my only thought is, will this tension remain for the rest of time or will one eventually prevail?
there’s plenty of things to not think about
did we just do tariffs across the board as an excuse to tariff china and bait them into a trade war?
anyone still do two spaces after a period?
apologize less, own it and be better.
really don’t think nostriches is the move 😅
it’s all about letting go
it’s almost like this time around no one cares about the economy crashing because like, what’s that mean for me? gas is the same, groceries same, rent same. all still expensive and i’m still a cog in this machine
i lost my way there for a sec
