I'm incredibly excited to finally share something that's been in the works for months: As some of you know, I've been working on a new show called Finding Home. The idea was to create the show I wanted to watch: a Bourdain-style exploration of food and travel, but through the eyes of Bitcoiners. It draws a parallel between the immigrant's search for a physical home and the bitcoiner's search for a sovereign one. The pilot, directed by the brilliant @npub1rj7e...jpw2 features the story of Shakib Farrah @npub1wvc8...00ea , a fellow pleb who runs an amazing Somali restaurant, Safari, in Harlem. Here's the trailer. The full episode drops Friday on IndeeHub. This is a 100% self-funded project so far, so it'll be on lightning enabled PPV to help me make the next one.

Thanks man, appreciate itπŸ™. Filmed a second episode in Prague last month that will be coming out in the next month or so, with a third episode lined up to be filmed in September at an undisclosed location πŸ‘€
You inspired me to think about the transition of space to place to home.. as a construct of thought and something we carry with us...as embedded in memories and senses...from taste to smell..part of home is also the invitation..the allowance of others into our world. Thank you for inspiring me to think differently.
Thank you. I don’t know if you remember this, but when we were hanging out in that restaurant patio (the one with the fire dancers πŸ˜‚) in Prague in β€˜23, I told you, Walker, Joe, and Sophie about this idea - I’d just come up with the concept earlier that day. This is how long it took to get it off the ground

Looks great! What is this IndeeHub? What are you using to enable Lightning PPV?

Hey Cody! IndeeHub is a cinema-centric platform catering to films & episodic projects. Filmmakers are paid via lightning either by rentals or simply by watching a project if they are paying subscribers. We do not incorporate advertising for freedom of expression reasons. Audiences need accounts so we can credit rentals and to keep track of behavior to pay filmmakers. You do not need to use any info that would compromise identity.

So you require the use of an IndeeHub based "lightning wallet" where funds are kept and then deducted from? Like Fountain? I'll log in and try it out tomorrow
We don’t custody any Audience Member funds or have an internal wallet (yet. We are still very much in beta 🫑) We use lightning to pay filmmakers and anyone on the film’s cap table. This solves a number of issues filmmakers currently have with legacy systems. Audiences can pay a monthly subscription with fiat or lightning (via pay with flash) for unlimited viewing. With a free account audiences can browse the platform, watch trailers, and rent anything that filmmakers have enabled rentals on. Rentals can be paid via lightning or fiat as well. Go ahead and sign up for a free account and you can browse. Avi’s project will be available for rental which you can of course pay with lightning and have access to for 48 hours. DM me if you’d like more access. Happy to show you around.
