We don’t custody any Audience Member funds or have an internal wallet (yet. We are still very much in beta 🫡) We use lightning to pay filmmakers and anyone on the film’s cap table. This solves a number of issues filmmakers currently have with legacy systems. Audiences can pay a monthly subscription with fiat or lightning (via pay with flash) for unlimited viewing. With a free account audiences can browse the platform, watch trailers, and rent anything that filmmakers have enabled rentals on. Rentals can be paid via lightning or fiat as well. Go ahead and sign up for a free account and you can browse. Avi’s project will be available for rental which you can of course pay with lightning and have access to for 48 hours.
