We don’t custody any Audience Member funds or have an internal wallet (yet. We are still very much in beta 🫡) We use lightning to pay filmmakers and anyone on the film’s cap table. This solves a number of issues filmmakers currently have with legacy systems. Audiences can pay a monthly subscription with fiat or lightning (via pay with flash) for unlimited viewing. With a free account audiences can browse the platform, watch trailers, and rent anything that filmmakers have enabled rentals on. Rentals can be paid via lightning or fiat as well.
