The most difficult part about traveling as a filmmaker is navigating airports with way more weight than is technically allowed. Nonetheless, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Grateful that I get to do this professionally and I’m stoked to film part two of the @My First Bitcoin documentary series.

Why would I spend the money that can lose 50%+ of its purchasing power in a year? It’s an understandable but misguided question. The question I have is, why would I use money with an infinite supply that is mathematically guaranteed to lose purchasing power EVERY SINGLE YEAR??? Not to mention to mention by using it you tacitly funds wars, environmental destruction and the most sadistic evil acts against children you can possibly imagine… It’s an easy choice once you have all the information.

It’s pretty simple

There are two types of bitcoin holders. Those who have done the work to understand it, and those who haven’t. Right now is when all those hours of listening to podcasts and reading books separates the two. LOWER.

Bitcoin was a medium of exchange BEFORE it was ever a store of value. We don't need to wait for global hyperbitcoinization to use bitcoin as money, or as a unit of account for that matter. Bitcoin adoption actually happens at the individual level, one person at a time.

A few months ago @My First Bitcoin reached out with the idea to make a documentary series showing grassroots, decentralized bitcoin education all over the world. In April, we traveled to Kenya and witnessed bitcoin adoption on a level I’ve never seen before. Next week we will release the first of a 4 part series. Open source, completely free.
