Doesnโt feel like a bottom
Strong lesson in here.
Day 0 is easy - but as with anything easy, itโs cheap, fleeting and forgettable.
Day 2 is hard - and with most hard things, it carries more weight & value. Itโs stickier.

Yep.
We finally found something that makes sense.
The original Satlantis vision was big...but too big.
Content, places, maps, events, reviews, recommendations, etc
Too much.
We're cutting the product back by 90% and focusing on ONE thing.
We're going to build the best events app in the world. Bitcoin-native, social for context (not content), calendars, community chat, etc.
The foundations are already there.
In fact, you can spin up an event today and run ticketing in Bitcoin.
The app is close to Luma / Eventbrite in terms of feature completeness.
You can log in as a normie, or with Nostr (soon with @primal)
This essay explains the pivot in more detail.
Thankyou for the ongoing support (and h/t to the haters)

When youโre pushing updates directly to prod on the fly, during the weekend ๐๐๐
Yes - thatโs a real event ๐คก
Fixes incoming.
And a bunch of polish next week.
Thankyou @Adopting Bitcoin for being such a great partner and being so patient with us.
We pulled off a huge pivot in time for this event, and while not everything worked perfectly, at least 80% of did the job.
Feedback from this event is going to harden the app significantly and make the experience for both hosts & attendees 100x better.

Buying a ticket for an event on Satlantis.
(Real event btw)
The first, truly bitcoin-native events app.
(Yes I know there are other payment apps that you can create tickets with, but what weโre doing here is a fully-featured events app, with bitcoin-native ticketing. So itโs an events app, with bitcoin-ticketing as a feature, not a bitcoin payments app with event-ticket as a feature. Both have pros and cons - but if your goal is to run events, this experience is superior by far)
