👋🏻 This is my last note for the foreseeable future.
Reflecting on the past year, the best thing I did was quit the last traditional social media platform I was still on: Instagram.
I also took a pause from Nostr during the summer… and came to the conclusion that social media — in any form — just isn’t for me. I was diagnosed with ADHD not that long ago (I’m 40+ years old), something I knew for a long time already, but the confirmation shifted my focus quite a bit.
Over the last quarter, the focus has been on building and improving my businesses, and that’s what the plan is for 2026 as well: creating real-world value with things I’m good at and genuinely enjoy doing. Alongside that, the priority is spending more time with the people closest to me.
There’s also a plan to work on speaking skills… scary, but exciting.
So, in short: social media is no longer worth the time and energy. Brain cycles are already burning fast enough without having to process the opinions of total strangers.
Stay humble, stack sats, and remember: it’s not you, it’s me ❤️
