Cooking. I'm never done seeing recipes πŸ˜‚ Maybe I will sound like a prick but I would like to see people fails on Nostr. The fails on YouTube are so vainilla nowadays with censorship πŸ₯±
I think I’ve seen literally one note ever about this πŸ˜… Funny, I was just talking about mowing with scythes the other day. My husband and I were talking about safety of kids on a farm around field equipment, and I mentioned the difference between scythes and modern drivable farm equipment. Trained kids can even use scythes alongside their parents and neighbors, but only the driver (and whatever limited number of passengers are possible) can be safely in the field when combines, etc. are running.
Followed πŸ«‚πŸ’œ I'm a strictly amateur sewist, pj pants and shorts for the kiddo, but I love seeing what people can do with a needle and thread. Machine or hand 😊.
I hadn’t even heard the word β€œsewist” until tonight. I was talking to my buddy yesterday and was saying how there’s gotta be a name for a guy that sews. I’m not a tailor, I’m not a seamstress, I’m a _____. He was like β€œβ€¦. seamster?” πŸ˜‘

It’s lame but I’ll say it. Sports coverage.
I feel like seamstress is a label for professionals, I'm not on that level lol. I used to see people saying sewer (sew-er) but yikes πŸ’©πŸ’©, I started using sewist probably not the first but much better πŸ˜‚ and gender neutral.
Yes! I’m ready for the sailing nostr group when we get a telegram like client.

Wow. Thanks. It's amazing that I happened upon this information on the day my weedwacker died. That looks like just the tool for cutting down cow parsnip without getting burned by its sap.
I've done this before in Slovakia! It was quite an experience for me. I learned there are competitions actually. The person teaching me competed. The key thing I learned was not to lift the scythe to high when you return it for the next swing.

What is an interest you have that you’d like to see more of on Nostr that you currently see fewer than one note a month about? #asknostr #grownostr

For me, a couch potato, all those sounds intriguing, but I would prefer not to ever need any of that... If you know what I mean.
Fine foods especially cheeses, Whisky and other nobel spirits, other sorts of debauchery and astrophotography. At least this is my mood right now.
ha. it's something i've been thinking about a lot. could be the 'killer feature' that takes nostr to the next level imho. i'm even thinking about making a NIP, or just building a proof of concept myself. happy to chat about it sometime 🫑
As I'm saying it is intriguing, it is fun to aquire the theoretical knowledge, enjoy it as a hobby, but I would prefer not to depend on it with my life. It is like I prefer the idea of gun ownership to actual gun ownership.

Actual gun ownership is terrifyingly awesome. You have to be responsible, and I think that responsibility tends to make one a better person. Self-reliance is a moving goal. I love learning new skills. It is a hobby of mine, I've decided. I am able to be more flexible because I have a much wider skill base to draw from, and that makes much if what I do and am less fragile .
