Y2K Amish. Civilization peaked in 1999
So I finished Stranger Things. I have a laundry list of gripes, but really there was nothing that triggered the 'tism like the Russians building a secret millitary base beneath a mall in Indiana like in Season 3. That still takes the cake for me.

Insurance is fundamentally based on examining risk. If there are dog breeds insurers won't allow at homes and doggie daycares, what does that say about the breed? Please, tell me how the insurers assessment of risk (and their claims data) is wrong and yours is right.

Last night I was unjustly subjected to Disney's Taylor Swift docuseries. Tonight, I return the favor with the holiday classic, Santa's Slay. image

There's some truth to Sean Lennon's recent comments to CBS about people forgetting the Beatles. I remember when everyone would go on and on about how overrated the Beatles were, now everyone wants to talk about how much Nirvana always sucked. That's how the world works.

There is some middle ground between being an Old Stock American and being a fresh-off-the-boat "Creedal American" that makes sense when discussing American identity. I don't know what that is exactly, and I'm sure it varies by situation.

I really wonder what goes on in Vivek Ramaswamy's brain around Christmas. Why does Christmas awaken his need to lecture Americans about American identity?

Good, now they can do a Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 GOTY edition with a functional build on the disc. Fingers crossed.

I really don't know anything about Piers Morgan, but he has started appearing in my feed. I know that he is British and he was on CNN at some point. Now, thanks to the internet, I've gathered that his wife fucks a lot of dudes but not him. Thanks internet!

I have a conference call today, and still have the plague. Now I know how Joe Biden felt being hopped up on a billion meds so he could occasionally function. I just need some adrenochrome to pull this off.

The new Avatar movie will make billions in ticket sales, and yet, I will never meet anyone in real life that's seen it. Not one damn person. I don't know who is watching these films.

It's kind of funny that everyone dragged the piss out of Chinese Democracy back in 2008, and yet GNR will spend the rest of their career retooling and finishing songs from that era and releasing them as singles. We'll be getting new Chinese Democracy tracks from here on out.

The trope of the jocks beating up the nerds is such lazy writing, especially when your setting is a small town. In a small town, the jocks are also nerds, and are also probably metal heads or band geeks. There's not enough people for every stereotypical clique shown in movies.
