If Bitcoin wasn't for enemies i wouldn't want anything to do with it. Read between the lines on that one. I hear you though.
David Bailey and Bitcoin Mag is not Bitcoin. They lost the plot a while ago by supporting ordinals, NFTs, and other spam on the chain. We run the nodes, we have the power

Oh wait. Sorry I didn't see the context 😂
Even worse, many of those who will go and feel proud to be there, when they do not align themselves with the politicians' discourse on Bitcoin, will be labeled as criminals

What did you expect? The Bitcoin Conference is big money, and attracts people looking to invest. It is not grass roots, attended for the purpose freedom tech.
Or maybe the social power of the more rational attendees will convince them to not want to hurt this economic opportunity for them. I mean that Bitcoin hope is contagious.
As a store of value, and one that will continue to gain a lot of value, yes, it is perhaps what the majority who align themselves with politicians defend, the idea that it will make us rich as a country... others are more humble and want to be free and why not rich, that is why we want it to be more than a store of value... probably the state will never promote this vision of bitcoin as money, It's a futile option

Normies gonna normie
The adoption of bitcoin as money is a very big risk to the existence of the state. I hope for more adoption among the population as money
Me too!! I'm working towards it. Provide for your close friends and family, find ways to sneak them some ecash. They can't stop that without going full Nazi.
Trojan horse. You will never have hyperbitcoinization and gov'ts simultaneously not using it. I like the prospect of gov'ts and hedgefunds not buying bonds and buying btc instead. Will make it harder to finance gov't.
I think THIS is actually the reaction theyre banking on mostly. That we will just give up and accept the loss. But they havent won yet, and we cant hand that win to them
Liz Warren was asked to speak, but her and all your Euro socialists declined. You’re gonna have to face the reality that communists don’t like bitcoin.

Bitcoin is a decentralized blockchain, a node, and independent of political, gender, or business views.
I hope you understand, that #trump does everything he does, to gain more power. I really think only stupid people can be fans of an egoist and narcisist. Since one knows, that he thinks in favor of himself all the time. So whoever thinks he will support you. Better start seeing reality and escape this bubble. There is only one person Trump supports.
Why should it be bad, if the state (which is kind of a common good) is first? I mean in the end there is probably faster acceptance once the state is buying in. It is a signal of trust I hope.
Shit coiners trying to insert themselves into the Bitcoin community after years of trying to prevent Bitcoin adoption..
The noise changed from criminals to scammers to politicians. The signal is still there. You find it deep down the rabbit hole. It still requires proof of work to get there. Another entrance to the rabbit hole has been openend, bringing a lot of noise. However, as you venture deeper, the noise fades and the chanting unfolds its beauty.

The public consensus that they seek to capture won’t have enough economic weight behind it to be useful. There are too many sovereigns amongst Bitcoiners now, they’re not going to bend over for the State. image
everyone: "lets make sure bitcoin is not political" everyone: "lets make sure it is at least bipartisan" david bailey: "fuck it, we're turning it to a maga circle jerk"

This. People in this short thread together have probably more Bitcoin then people listed in that screenshot.
If Bitcoin maxis would have a spine, they would just not attend the conference. But they don´t. :( Bitcoin Maxis are just USD Simps.
I think everyone who hold Bitcoin is real bit-coiners even they are not promoting Bitcoin . A lot of people promoting BTC is broke alias don’t have Bitcoin and they are not real bitcoiners . Real bitcoiners are the one who have Bitcoin and hold . I think .

It's not bad, was simplying trying to say that it is unfortunate that more people won't have the economic advatage of early adoption.

before the vote Trump participated personally
After last year I decided I would never give a dime to Bitcoin Magazine again. Sure, politicians eventually groveling to Bitcoiners is inevitable. But us welcoming the sleazebags with open arms sure as hell isn’t. Now’s the time to tell them to piss off.

So many influencers So many CEOs So many opinions So much virtue signalling All good, they do what they want I won't stand in their way I'll stay here, Nothing changes, and my keys stay mine.
If you know that bitcoin is inevitable, you also know at some point it has have the biggest lobby group. Any candidates that didn't realize this found out the hard way. This is what I sent my son on election day: image
