Summer of paper bitcoin was fun, but now it’s winter of deleveraging. Maybe we have moved from 4 year cycles to 4 seasons of Bitcoin Which do your Porsche builds look like? For reliability you might need 2 of them

It reminds me of this joke from John Cleese: "How do you make God laugh? You tell Him about your life plans!" Just trying to light up the humor. Sorry for your dog and friend

Humbling year, I’ve revised many of my expectations. Also had close family awful news which is equally humbling and a real wake up. But I sold a 993 to buy more bitcoin and I’m really happy with that decision (most of the time 🀣)

Funny post with those expectations, quite naive for true bitcoiner to think that short term... better still think about this one... Bitcoin is β€œeverything you don’t understand about money combined with everything you don’t understand about computers"... until you finally do and suddenly the whole thing clicks in a WOW moment.

AM hodl sir I'd like your thoughts on whether non kyc btc is what everyone should buy over kyc. With KYC 'they' will always know how much you have no? So when eventually the 6102 comes for bitcoin they can just ask the exchanges for the names and amount purchased

That’s great news! I unfortunately did have to get surgery. But just glad that surgeons exist! I saw a younger deer walking outside with a broken front leg. It was definitely an older injury as it didn’t look painful to walk on.. but it healed in a way that would impede it from running from danger. Anyways! Good vibes

I’m genuinely sorry to hear all those things, Hodl. I’m also feeling a sudden existential anxiety. I began part-timing & supplementing my income with Bitcoin this year, which is now only getting more expensive, when I had no doubt it would get less expensive. I experienced a herniated disc which was the first time I’ve needed medical insurance in my whole life. Scary, and very long healing, but I’m now back to 80%, so no tears. My wife is overwhelmed by her job as a teacher, so a few months ago I told her confidently β€œfinish this year and you won’t have to work again”. God can laugh when I tell Him my plans, but not when I plan for my wife. It’s hard not to consider how, when Fiat Institutions went full-on into Bitcoin, it seemed to begin coming apart at the seams. Is it Bitcoin producing Old Testament-style β€œTests of Faith”? Or are the Institutions playing us the sucker in a long-game? These are questions only History will answer. Because none of us have figured them out yet, and we’re collectively smarter than the average Bear. I guess.

Bitcoin allows you to realize all of those other things are more important to be present for. Fiat steals those moments from you and prevents being present from the most important moments of your own life

100%. I was fortunate one of my best friends was like, β€œI have an inversion table, you want it?” So fortunate. I’ve never been so humbled than spending a few weeks not being able to move. Not being able to leave a couch for more than 30 seconds. But someone clued me in that people either go full on surgery, or full on physical therapy. I went PT, and it has helped immensely, if so SO slowly.

Well it wasn't right then directly which was more most of September... But eclipse season vibes carry for the next half a year. It appears it happened on the day Neptune went back into the last degree of Pisces (the very last degree of the very last sign on the archetypal zodiacal wheel) for it's last few months dance before it moves on for good for the next 160 some years. It's a lot about big endings and recalibrations...
