lol I had such high expectations for this year. Million dollars a coin? Buy a mansion perhaps oh and a Porsche. Why not 😂 Then my friend got cancer, my dog died, I broke my wrist and bitcoin was negative for the year lol Life.

Summer of paper bitcoin was fun, but now it’s winter of deleveraging. Maybe we have moved from 4 year cycles to 4 seasons of Bitcoin Which do your Porsche builds look like? For reliability you might need 2 of them

There's still over a month to go!! Mansions for Christmas? Bitcoin is probably just bending it's knees so it can just really high, to 1 million dollars per coin, right?! 🙏😅

During a previous top, I nearly convinced myself that a panameria turbo executive (long wheelbase) would be a good family car. Whew
Same! Told myself when I can get a new one for less than 10m sats I am pulling the trigger May never happen at this point 🥲

I feel cheated. My income was lower this year but I was hoping bitcoin might make up for it.
🤣 the wrist is physical pain. wasn’t trying to minimize it but the other two are a little bit different type of pain.

It reminds me of this joke from John Cleese: "How do you make God laugh? You tell Him about your life plans!" Just trying to light up the humor. Sorry for your dog and friend
Bitcoin fucked me in the ass right after I started working less and took a sizable loan. 🤣😂

Humbling year, I’ve revised many of my expectations. Also had close family awful news which is equally humbling and a real wake up. But I sold a 993 to buy more bitcoin and I’m really happy with that decision (most of the time 🤣)
Funny post with those expectations, quite naive for true bitcoiner to think that short term... better still think about this one... Bitcoin is “everything you don’t understand about money combined with everything you don’t understand about computers"... until you finally do and suddenly the whole thing clicks in a WOW moment.

Expectations are the root of disappointment. Sorry about your dog.
Wild 80k and it feels worse than bear market bottoms. Fear is real. Hope your friend beats the cancer 🙏. Only thing more scarce than Bitcoin .... Time

AM hodl sir I'd like your thoughts on whether non kyc btc is what everyone should buy over kyc. With KYC 'they' will always know how much you have no? So when eventually the 6102 comes for bitcoin they can just ask the exchanges for the names and amount purchased
It was a tough yeah for a lot of people I know as well. Myself included in some ways. I hope your friend and wrist are recovering. Condolences for the dog. Bitcoin sucks, nothing new there.

That’s great news! I unfortunately did have to get surgery. But just glad that surgeons exist! I saw a younger deer walking outside with a broken front leg. It was definitely an older injury as it didn’t look painful to walk on.. but it healed in a way that would impede it from running from danger. Anyways! Good vibes
I’m sorry, we’ve been dealing with some medical stuff all year and lost our pupstr last month as well. Hope your wrist heals fast and home your friend gets better… honestly I like getting some more sats on sale before it rockets

But you’re still here, still laughing, still stacking, that’s elite level strength 😂🫡
You know what they say: if you want to make god laugh, tell him your plans.
Must have missed the Vlog in the wrists injury… and sorry about your dog and your friend. Silver lining is we get to stack sats below $100k, I still call that a win.
I’m genuinely sorry to hear all those things, Hodl. I’m also feeling a sudden existential anxiety. I began part-timing & supplementing my income with Bitcoin this year, which is now only getting more expensive, when I had no doubt it would get less expensive. I experienced a herniated disc which was the first time I’ve needed medical insurance in my whole life. Scary, and very long healing, but I’m now back to 80%, so no tears. My wife is overwhelmed by her job as a teacher, so a few months ago I told her confidently “finish this year and you won’t have to work again”. God can laugh when I tell Him my plans, but not when I plan for my wife. It’s hard not to consider how, when Fiat Institutions went full-on into Bitcoin, it seemed to begin coming apart at the seams. Is it Bitcoin producing Old Testament-style “Tests of Faith”? Or are the Institutions playing us the sucker in a long-game? These are questions only History will answer. Because none of us have figured them out yet, and we’re collectively smarter than the average Bear. I guess.

A way bigger opportunity exists. Cheap bitcoin. Consider yourself blessed. You will never see these prices ever again in the coming decades.
Sorry for the loss of your pup… I lost two last year and it still bums me out. Onwards and upwards!
At some point you have enough. Obvi upside is lower now. A lot of people are ready to sell some
Been hiding from Bitcoin since 2015 after selling my entire stack. Decide to go balls deep this year annnnnnnd it’s gone.
I have a disk out in my back too. The two things that helped me. Get a bar and start doing dead hangs 2-3x a day and build up the back muscles and posterior chain. Good luck!

Bitcoin allows you to realize all of those other things are more important to be present for. Fiat steals those moments from you and prevents being present from the most important moments of your own life
100%. I was fortunate one of my best friends was like, “I have an inversion table, you want it?” So fortunate. I’ve never been so humbled than spending a few weeks not being able to move. Not being able to leave a couch for more than 30 seconds. But someone clued me in that people either go full on surgery, or full on physical therapy. I went PT, and it has helped immensely, if so SO slowly.
Actually broke my wrist and had to put my dog down on the same day. It was a very bad day.

Well it wasn't right then directly which was more most of September... But eclipse season vibes carry for the next half a year. It appears it happened on the day Neptune went back into the last degree of Pisces (the very last degree of the very last sign on the archetypal zodiacal wheel) for it's last few months dance before it moves on for good for the next 160 some years. It's a lot about big endings and recalibrations...
