Approach everything with the "one day at a time" mindset. Even "one moment at a time" depending on the severity of the realty. It's easy to zoom out too far and get lost and defeated looking at the big picture and obstacle(s) in front of you. But by breaking it down into individual days or moments, it helps a lot.
