I admire the people who are destroying Flock cameras, they are true patriots. I don't think it is going to matter though. The state will put surveillance devices in cop cars and other places where they are more difficult / impossible to destroy. The root issue is the State itself

I honestly feel like a reason bitcoin is not taken as seriously or seen to be on par with something like gold is because of the retarded protocol debates and potential consensus changes we have in bitcoin. There are no retards in the gold space proposing changes to the gold atom, gold is gold and no one can change its properties. There are no blue haired gold devs or closeted pedos to cause uncertainty as to what gold will look like 50 years from now. Even if nothing changes with bitcoin consensus for years at a time the possibility will always exist, and that is something that does not exist with gold and other commodities. Jack Mallers likes to say that mother nature should decide monetary policy and I actually agree with him, but that isn’t true with bitcoin. Ultimately, humans will continue to decide the monetary policy and that is a risk we have to acknowledge.
