Bird is massaged in sage butter and sitting in an onion carrot bone broth bath. This will keep it very moist. Going in to roast. image

I’m also roasting hella garlic. This is 9 heads. If you love roasted garlic, spreading this on a French baguette with herbs and good butter a little sea salt is an orgasmic combo. image

If it looks like a crime scene you probably did it right. Don’t worry I don’t cut on plastic, I don’t want raw bird on my nice wood. image

Did you know that across France and England in the 18th and 19th century it was fashionable for the wealthy (or aspiring upper class) to build garden follies? Little fake Roman or Greek ruins or even exotic Chinese pagodas, Japanese bridges, Egyptian pyramids, etc. They even would hire a hermit to live in them and say deep philosophical things to amuse their guests. You were fancy if you had a hermit in your garden.

A new trail run water bottle sticker courtesy of @Beck & Bulow (it’s so pretty!) A sitting duck and a blue dragonfly spotting.
