Feels worse than the EU’s digital ID nonsense..?
The more people comply, the more the system will demand from you later. Go where you are wanted, not where you are enslaved. Let the USA go without tourists for a few years, spread the money you would have spent there over other countries which have no such requirements.

From a bluepilled sovereign perspective, this is a good idea. You wouldn't want to let someone who posts "death to america" into your country But, how is this a workable solution? Just have a nym and a public facing clean account. Zoomers had this years ago with their finstas
The Silicommie Valley Big Tech lords created the surveillance state and Trump is integrating it into governnent just as quick as any leftist Marxists like Obama/Biden would do. Get rid of your phone.
Perhaps, but stuff like this is far more likely to kill America than letting in someone who made a post. Just like I believe the Patriot Act was more destructive than 9/11. I'm more interested in actual criminal or destructive action that people have taken.
And honestly, I feel like my government is far more of a threat to me today than any foreigner. That's the problem with letting seemingly small things like this go for too long. It's always a matter of time before the tool is turned inward. We've seen that before.
Lmao I was never gonna visit the US, but this is surely a great incentive not to. Way to kill tourism

Just don’t ever go to the US. Easier than they think.
I can just imagine the border agent looking confused as fuck, as people give them their npub. "So my username is 19mf4jm44umnup4he4cdqrjk3us966qhdnc3zrlpjx93y4x95e3uq9qkfur"

Dropping the ball? This was plan all along. The only people surprised by this have been too distracted by trumps nuts in their mouth this whole time.

This is a bad idea in general. Of your intelligence capability is reliant on social media to find terrorists you have already lost.
so, there's a market to create fake profiles now... especially if the relays can generate fake historical posts for your npub... would be funny to make some posts older than the protocol itself, for borderlulz ovb.

Lmfao The US is everything they claim china to be 💀
That would be weird requirements for nationalization but for tourists? Which tech geek can produce all their past week's ip addresses? I wouldn't know how to find those across all my devices and doubt 127.0.0.1 will do.
They got some crazy mega cities, vast wildness, rural villages where the culture has been mostly preserved. There is so much to see there, it's on my list. I can stop smoking weed for a couple months to travel around China. I wouldn't like to live their though, their Bitcoin and drug policies are too strict. I get why. Opium wars for historical context on their strict drug laws and criminals laundering money + mining drove up hardware costs for consumers and businesses at the time.
Dafuq? I tried to resist facial ID scan on boarding Boston - London flight last month. TSA staff were like rottweilers and turned it into a scene in front of my kids and the line behind me. I was forced to comply. Left a bad taste.

As if facial recognition and keeping records for 75y wasn't bad enough... They had to make people hand over their socials. Crazy

NAS already know all this shit anyway, USA just want to do an AI comparison for shakedown purposes. Gotta make money somehow.
It is what it is. When all hope is lost : people Crave revolution - next evolution 🫂😜🕊️👸🏽🐝
Way past that level now 🫂 . Old stuff First they came on the tv, and I did not speak out—because I was not a tv viewer. As one who is well aware of how it’s been used to brainwash #🇺🇸 for decades. Then they came for the social media, and I eventually chose to speak out—but because I spoke truth was Shadow banned, mocked & called a troll & bot. (Years ago) Then they came for the USA, and I did *sometimes* speak out—because I have already seen the destruction of wars. Will do what’s possible to prevent another one* in my own nation. Information being used to continually systematically divide one another by: Religion, sexuality, politics, race, No need to go on… most enjoy their willful ignorance & being entertained 🤣 Then they came for me—and there was no body left to be found. Because she attempted all she could. —
The Holocaust was when a hateful government convinced people to blame a group of neighbors for their problems — and then used power to murder them in the millions while the world was slow to stop it.
Might add the US to my blacklist, between China and North Korea.

Not sure it's just #Americans. When authority and surveillance and AI combine in real time against pre-crimes, where the crimes sway and shift to suit the bureaucratic whim. This affects every human, even the bureaucrats who think they can exempt themselves. Tribalism, whilst useful in the past to fight for resources on the Savanna, is a liability in centralised AGI world.
World peace ☮️ treaties have always been a goal of mine. My above response is very old writing of mine. It’s definitely not just Americans but since Ima one … that’s where my focus on our shared ignorance is. Eek 😬 recently wrote about how we’re living in Minority report 😂. Cool 😎 We disagree on tribalism. But I respect 🫡 most everyone for their humanity … 99% bleed for 1% greed We’re all slaves to something. Most just don’t accept it like I did. Hugs 🫂 image
Eh I think you give them too much credit to have a long term plan. The technocrats in the admin definitely pushing this to trump as a big brother solution

I knew it. Trump wants all the free speech for himself.
Its not... Yet. Its always how things like this are done. Slowly but with a goal in mind. The facial recognition stuff at the airport is also currently optional even on international but I'd expect that to change eventually too.
Will the US take the path countries like the UK and Australia are taking?
Yeah, I’ve been opting out… usually get a surprising nod of approval from the tsa employee.
Its a mixed bag. Went through LAX, over the summer, and they kept us waiting for an obvious punitively long time. Give am extra 45min if you opt out of scanners or facial recognition.
