I get why Meta would track employee computer use to train AI models but... It's kind of diabolical. Like how is that supposed to make someone feel while they're working for you? It was bad enough to know it's happening in the background. Goddamn. It's so soulless.

"About to Collapse" is a YouTube genre at this point. The housing and automotive markets have been about to collapse for about 6 years. You'd think people would figure out that we aren't going back to the way things were. At least not any time soon. And honestly, should we? I'd rather debride the wound and build something better.

I sort of like doing my own vehicle work. I learn a ton and enjoy the challenge. I can also take my time and do it right. I would fucking hang myself from a lift if I worked at a dealership working on this shit they put out now. Hell no. I salute the poor bastards who do.

I don't blame the Founders for not seeing every possible outcome, but I wish they'd spent more time limiting eminent domain. The supreme court defended ED as an inherent attribute of a state. Why even have a document defining the state if the state has inherent attributes - what are they exactly? Who decides them? Isn't that the exact purpose of a Constitution? Anyway, it is in the Constitution, I just wish they'd limited the hell out of it.

I remember when buying bulk would cost less. Now I find myself buying two one packs instead of one two pack because it costs less. I don't get it. Are they relying on most people not noticing? If so, that's kind of dumb since most of the big online price displays shoe cost per unit. It takes me a literal glance to see it.

I'd rather have local police patrol the area 24/7 than have spy cameras everywhere. In fact, that's what they originally did and were probably closer to the community (actually serving them). That's where "walking a beat" came from. Now they're just on call state thugs so we need fucking cameras everywhere?

I'll never fault a man for being wrong as long as he admits it in the face of evidence. The people who bury their heads and proceed anyway are the most dangerous and disgusting people.
