GM If you're the praying type any prayers for my cousin would be greatly appreciated. He has been battling some major conditions over the last 7 years. Was in major pain yesterday and is being treated for sepsis. He is 41 and has two kids that love their dad and a wife who is a badass and been by his side through all the pain and suffering.

My Parents closed on the farm that has been in my Dad's family for 4 generations. The first thing my Dad wanted to do was find out what the floors looked like under the carpet. My Grandma made a comment to him and my Mom 20+ years ago she had no idea why they would rip up their nice carpet to put down hardwood floors. My Dad asked if there was hardwood under her carpet....she said yep it was too hard to keep clean carpet is much easier. Turns out there was the most beautiful hardwood under that old beat up carpet.

Random idea/thought from my kiddos that I think is signal.... We are mostly low tech at our household other than letting them watch approved movies or TV series. They love classic movies. My daughter is convinced that in order for something to be a fairytale it can't have technology. If a movie has technology or iPhones they assume it isn't a fairytale. So Elf qualifies as a fairytale since they just had flip phones like at Grandmas 😎 Not a princess, castle, or monetary success, but NO TECHNOLOGY is that of mystery and fairytales to my kiddos.

GM I woke up to the smell of fresh baked cookies. My wife got up and got after it. Sundays we try and get everything ready for the week. She makes everything from scratch for our kids lunch. My daughter loves her homemade "oreos" and my son enjoys chocolate chip & sprinkle cookies. Her fresh dog buns are the hardest thing for me to resist. She also decided to make pro biotic sodas for herself to try. I made bacon and coffee....I'm blessed to walk alongside her on this planet 🙏🙏
