Thoughts on running, as a recovering amateur meathead: Lifting weights is about becoming stronger for it's own sake, ego, vanity, and pride, with the immediate gratification of a pump Running is about intentionally subjecting yourself to discomfort with no immediate gratification for the purpose of building endurance through hardship and struggle There's a time-preference lesson in there too, I think.

I'm becoming more convinced that you can't win in the system by swimming against the current. One must exit the system entirely. Bitcoiners say "Duh." I'm not referring to the money alone. I'm referring to a shift in lifestyle, standard of living, food sources, ways of thinking... I have a white-collar job and have held #bitcoin for nearly 6 years. I can barely make ends meet. My life has changed a lot in these six years, not because of the coin at all, but by what I've chosen to do in meat space. Don't just passively "choose freedom." Go get it. Build something. Raise food. Move out of the city. Exit the control grid. It's not easy, and I'm not a free man yet. But I think it'll be worth it in the end.

There's a palpable disgust people will have if you quote scripture that lays out clear roles for men and women, especially within the context of church, if their westernized commercial church of choice doesn't fit that prescription.

On the one hand, I'm stoked to have the benefits of a local assistant paired with encrypted cloud brains under the hood; However My Pro plan allowance is more than 20% gone for the month in a matter of about 2 hours, while only doing basic setup dialogue. Not ideal.
