I’m not good at asking for help, but I am presently faced with a medical expense that I do not know how to pay at this point. I have been in constant pain for almost 20 years with bad teeth, and they have begun causing secondary health problems. Because of the structure of my teeth and bones, it will be a surgery to have them removed, and I’m liable to end up with holes where they were leading into my sinuses, etc. It’s doable, but it’s work for the surgeon, and they charge for that sort of thing. The surgery looks like it will cost about $13,000, not counting the cost of dentures. Someone suggested I create a donation page on Nodeless, so here it is. There are countless people in worse situations, so I don’t really want to ask for anything. But if you feel like chipping a few sats to help out with this, every little bit helps. https://nodeless.io/donate/oral-surgery

Thank you Codex. I can’t wait to eat my first meal without pain. Soon. ❤️
I don’t know where you’re located. But when a family member needed extensive dental work including implants placed, they went to Mexico to save costs. If you need help locating a reliable dentist/ oral surgeon there. I have contacts to help. I understand travel may not be possible for you.

20 years is a long time. It’s been bad for about 4 now. Long past due. After my last round of antibiotics, all sorts of health issues vanished almost like they went into remission. I’m thinking I’ve been dealing with infection a long long time.
Ouch 4 yrs is a long time. My wife had a similar issue. It gets to the point where you don't even realize you're in pain half the time, though it's reflected in your mood and energy levels. Glad antibiotics cleared it for now. But I'm sure it'll come back again if you don't get the root (no pun intended) problem solved. 😬
Having big issues with mine and no dentists available, so costs are going to be high when I can get the work done, so I totally get your position, though it sounds like you've got it even worse than me 😭 good luck with the fundraiser 🤞🙏

I’m trying not to cry over the help already. I hope you are able to find a dentist soon. What part of the world do you hail from?
I'm on the south coast in the UK, in the absolute actual worst city in the UK for dentistry 😆 I almost got the work done in Spain back in 2020 when I had more money but then...yeah. 2020.

Everything you need is on earth Pain is temporary, so is joy I wish u the best
If you don't raise enough to cover the expense, most medical debt can be negotiated into a very reasonable payment plan. You can usually negotiate to pay a very small amount per month. Generally as long as you continue to pay, they are fine with the reasonable payment plan. Much different than other types of debt as far as I know.
You need to seriously think about coming to Mexico and get that. I have severe rheumatoid arthritis that led to bone loss and problems all over including losing perfectly good teeth. They removed them all and gave me a plate denture for $500 usd cash. Yes this was 10 years ago but I'm sure you'll be blown away not just by price but the surgeons are top notch all over Mexico with Guadalajara known for their schools of dentistry. Many, many people do dental and medical tourism in Mexico. Look it up and good luck.

I have this honest feeling that the Bitcoin Plebs can do more for you if you give us the exact medical diagnosis instead.

I gave you what I had. I don’t know what the condition is, or how to put it in simple terms. My teeth have been falling apart since I was a teen. I had regular cleanings, etc and they just started crumbling. A lot of work was put in over the years trying to slow it, but within a year or two, every filling, etc would fail. It is the opinion of the last two dentists I’ve seen that the teeth are no longer worth saving. I have shards of teeth or teeth broken off below the gum line. Meanwhile my roots hook, and the tops protrude into my sinus cavity. I went to see the best reviewed surgeon in my area, and my family has past experience with him (my dad’s teeth did the exact same thing). He explained the risks, complications, and costs. It’s the only thing I know. I hope that helps explain it, but dental is a bit over my head.

Good luck. Finance it if you can and let BTC do the rest. See if the will take a payment plan over 12-24 months so zaps today will cover it or most of it when the bull runs. And it will run. If they won’t and don’t require 100% up front; just don’t pay it right away and eventually they WILL accept a payment plan or won’t get paid.

My mother in law had to have the same type of work. It’s expensive as all hell. Like buying a car expensive. Payment plans are a thing. Also look at international travel as an option. Depending on where you live the same work can be done as well or even better and much less expensively in another country. Teeth are important. Very. 🙏God speed.

True words. I get onto family members similarly. I’m not quite at the point of toothbrushes in Christmas stockings, but I’m close.

It’s going to be a huge help. I may be able to get something going much sooner now.
I haven’t used them but you could look at unchained as a way to borrow against your bitcoin instead of selling it to pay for the surgery. I believe it’s multi sig so you still see your bitcoin there.

I'm sorry I hope you feel better. You reached out to awesome people! I'm sure people will help. There's also a thing about getting new teeth it's probably expensive but it's probably better than dentures
If you have any problems with your teeth I suggest you to come here to Hungary. We have cutting edge, state of the art medical treatment. A complete "health tourism" business based on mainly dental treatment, balneotherapy, and so on. (Believe me, Hungary is no more a part of the "Eastern Block" as the west called the socialist countries. There is no socialism in Hungary from 1990, we are member of the EU from 2004). So, many of the Americans come here, also Europeans. Regarding the medical treatment it is much cheaper, including the flight and hotel and/or hospital costs (not USD13000, it is horribly expensive). For example, I have a very professional dentist, he made me implants 10 years ago, perfect. But there are many Hungarian dentists advertises worldwide. My brother lived in the US and later in Canada, and he had problems with teeth and eyes too. He calculated the costs and decided to come home just for to treat himself. If you want more infos DM me. I swear I am not interesed in this business I cant get any commission :-) (even it would be disgusting to earn money from other's health problem)

What kind of a world do we live in where I believe it could’ve been real teeth. 🤣
I’m from Mexico & I concur. Dentistry for foreigners in Mexico is a huge industry … Hopefully this is an option for you as I’m sure it would definitely be less of a burden.
My wife has dental issues and we did a dental supplement plan where we live that has helped exponentially with her costs overall. Not sure where you are but you can write off health expenses from your taxes if they hit around 7% of your income I think

@ᴄʏʙᴇʀɢᴜʏ 👽 has a really good point, in Europe it would be way cheaper, there are many countries you could consider going to, it would potentially cut the price to atleast have if not 1/3
That's in US so check for you. Make sure you keep all your receipts for any healthcare costs from the year in case of audit and include costs in itemized filing
Btw: about 20 years... I had had a pain in my spine for more than 20 years, caused by an accident when I was a soldier. But fortunately I have been operated ang got titanium implants, thanks to a Hungarian professor who has worldwide patent of a nw type of spine implants. I remember the pain so I feel for you!
I concur, other countries such as Mexico for sure. People sometimes think they get less care in Mexico, that is nearly always the opposite. Much better care, and much cheaper.
If you live in the US, Dental Schools will often have lower cost clinics that do that kind of work for less, in exchange for you letting students/residents train alongside the Oral surgeon doing the work.
Definitely look into prices in other countries out of pocket even with travel could come out to way cheaper and still get good care. Hope your able to get it taken care of and feel better 💜. My cousin lives in the states but has gone to Brazil to get some costly dental work done and it has saved him a lot of money.
I am so much happier after having the rest of my teeth pulled last year. I spent far too much time in pain due to one problem or another. It's an inconvenience, for sure, and I was hesitant to have it done, but it's much better not having the pain.

It’s going to be pretty different from what my dad has explained. Anything I should watch out for at first?
100% this @nobody You can get the surgical extractions + the all on 6 implant dentures for much less than your extractions alone in Mexico or Columbia. I am happy to help guide you if you decide to go that route.
I have a dentist friend in Mexico City who charges almost the same for crowns as our lab cost for a crown. I couldn’t touch his prices. American dentists like to say that it’s because the work is inferior or dangerous/not sanitary. My friend has a nicer, more modern office than most US dentists I know and does beautiful dental work.
I know everyone is saying go out of the US to have this done but what they’re not considering is that this will take 9-12 months, requiring at least 4-8 appointments. May require sinus lifts, etc. fitting dental appliances, creating crowns for implants, the abutments, this is not an overnight process. This is months, and months, and months of trial and error. It may be cheaper but the constant travel is something to consider.

Medical and dental tourism in Mexico is a great option. I'm in Southern California and I go down there for my dental needs. It's way cheaper than the US and the work they do is exceptional
my dad recently got 6 implants for 5k EUR, it's hard to spend so much on it but it's definitely better then being without teeth. he wishes he fixed it long ago when the issues were still small. good luck with it sent you a small donation
