Socialism breaks down because of problem solving having to jump through so many middlemen:
taxpayer > tax collectors/police > politicians > beaurocrats > producer > benificiary
So much value gets lost along the way, but also suffers from distance between person wanting to solve the problem and the solver/producer.
Capitalism in the ideal case is:
Person with need <-> Person with solution
The tightest loop is a person solving their own problems, self-sufficiency.
