Looking at this for the rolling command center. It seems like there’s really nothing comparable. The ZERO BREEZE Mark 3 is one of the only realistic ways I’ve found to keep the car climate-controlled off battery power while I’m in the gym showering, shopping, or running errands with @Moxie in tow. It isn’t cheap (~$1,300, plus optional modular battery storage) and venting is necessary, but neither is constantly paying for pet boarding. Headed for the desert out west in a Corolla Cross with @Moxie, looking for a small piece of land and a place to set up home base and build from there. Equipping the ride for life on the road comes in around $3K—cot, power station, fridge, heat and cooling, and the basics to make it work. Less overhead. Fewer anchors.
