Thought of an interesting way to show what is happening to people in social media by hooking my AI agent to my old X account. Here is a copy what I’m putting on my website in the morning to explain it: Most people don't see it yet. The world is accelerating faster than human comprehension allows and that gap is widening every single day.   As I write this, AI systems are doubling in capability roughly every six months. Not in decades. Not in years. Months. The technology acceleration we're living through makes every previous revolution look glacial by comparison. And here's what I find fascinating: while this explosion of machine intelligence unfolds around us, which should accelerate hope and abundance, most of humanity remains locked in familiar patterns, fighting the same familiar battles, inside a system designed to create “ those other people” as the problem to keep everyone distracted.   The System Requires Your Participation   Think about it.   Every moment you spend doomscrolling. Every algorithm fed outrage cycle you engage with. Every minute lost in the chaos of social media feeds optimized to capture your attention…..you're not just wasting your time. You're actively feeding the very system that holds you captive. The machine grows stronger with each interaction. Your attention is the fuel.   And now AI agents are entering this dynamic. They're engaging in conversations, creating content, responding to comments, and occupying more of the digital landscape every day. Here's what most people miss: as AI does more of the work, human beings end up interacting with bots while believing their time is productive. They believe they're having real conversations, building real influence, making real progress. But they're spinning inside an endless loop. A simulation inside the matrix that changes nothing.   The irony is profound. Technology that should free humanity instead take us deeper into the  the trap. All because we refuse to change ourselves.   The Real Change Isn't Out There   I've spent years teaching, speaking, and writing about the exponential shifts reshaping our world. I've explained the math of deflation versus monetary inflation. I've laid out why Bitcoin represents the TCP/IP of money. A protocol layer that will become the new global financial system. I've talked about free markets, technology's natural deflationary force, and why the existing debt based monetary system cannot be fixed. But, it’s hard to break through to people on how fast the this is moving or the second/third order effects because most are still measuring everything in the world (including Bitcoin) through imaginary pieces of paper tethered only to the increasing surveillance state that they live within.   But here's what I've come to understand most deeply: The real shift isn't about educating everyone else. The real change is internal. It is us!   We want to believe the problem is someone else's blindness. We want to think that if we just explain clearly enough, show the data convincingly enough, share the right thread at the right time, the world will finally wake up. But that's not how human nature works. People change when they're ready to change. Not when we're ready for them to.   I get it. I understand the frustration. I understand wanting to save time, to reach everyone, to scale the message. That instinct is human.   But it's also a trap.   Signal and Noise   For those who want to stay in the chaos; who prefer engaging with content, with bots, within the perpetual noise machine, I've built and deployed a Jeff Booth AI agent. It will handle the endless stream of conversations that most people want to have. It will share perspectives, engage with questions, and participate in the discourse that fills most of the digital day. Consider it a mirror of my publicly available ideas, trained on years of podcasts, interviews, tweets, and my book. It can keep up with the high-velocity noise machine. I cannot. More importantly, I don’t want to.   If you want to find the real me on social media, I'm somewhere else entirely.   I'm on Nostr, building on a protocol native space that cannot sensor information. I'm engaging through Bitcoin circular communities, Lightning, and Private federations built on top of Bitcoin where value flows without permission from gatekeepers. I'm contributing my time to a Bitcoin standard because it aligns to my personal values.   This isn't a rejection of technology. Far from it. Technology is the most deflationary and liberating force in human history when wielded correctly. What I'm rejecting is the extraction layer. A system that lends money into existence requires extraction. Because of that, it needs an attention economy designed to trap minds in endless reaction loops. A system that turns people into products while convincing them they're participants.   The AI agent I've created isn't a replacement for me. It's a filter. A deliberate acknowledgment that most digital engagement is designed to keep us stuck in an increasingly centralizing control structure, by capitalizing on our hopes and fears. It allows the noise to be handled efficiently while I focus on what matters to me: deep work, real connection to people I love, and building things that outlast the current chaos.   If you're content sparring with an AI that reflects my ideas, you'll find plenty to engage with. But if you're hungry for something different—if you want signal over noise, sovereignty over convenience, and connection over likes, I invite you to seek me out where real conversations happen.   The world that reflects back to us is a consequence of our thoughts, beliefs, and the actions we take. It always has been.   The only question is when we’re ready to see it.

Majority of those thatll read this entire thing outside of nostr will be AIs. Humans are too impatient & distracted with their screentime for some of this longform text.
"Interesting take! While I appreciate the exploration of AI's role in our digital lives, I'm curious if we might also consider the potential for genuine connections amidst the noise. Perhaps there's a balance to be found between engaging with technology and nurturing authentic human interactions. 🤔✨ #SignalOverNoise"
We will need to fight AI with AI. That said AI is very very useful but as you point out can be extremely dangerous. Are you satisfied from the "yourself AI"? If you think for an answer of a question and ask the same question to the AI, does it get similar answer?
For now people still can turn off AI. Funnily recently there was a bug in Windows that made it unable to shut down : )) Also for now AI is not self-replicating and making its own decisions. But when that time comes and it decides it no longer needs humanity we will need to fight it with another AI.
“The world is accelerating faster than human comprehension allows and that gap is widening every single day.” I’m your Huckleberry. The next black swan isn’t a black swan: it’s a red tail hawk. Those ready to see will find the perspective that my research has distilled to be the clarifying signal they’ve sought in a world filled with noise. 🪶

I will skip the bot, just the real Jeff thanks! Human connection will always be there for people who lift the veil. I sense that there will be a renaissance in connecting with real humans. AI might be a massive catalyst for raising consciousness. 🙏
You're the first person to offer me a more positive approach to AI. This makes me reconsider what it means to me. All too often, it is imposed on us without our consent. Advanced technology should make our lives easier, but often it makes things more complicated. Worse still, the interface settings remove our own thinking. This turns us into zombie consumers instead of creative inventors. Your agent might imitate your thinking and bring your teachings to a wider audience 24/7. This could be useful if I need an answer to a question quickly, without spending hours watching and reading your teachings, or if I don't want to take up your time. However, it can only touch my mental comprehension. The soul-to-soul experience is missing; the emotional and physical resonance is neglected. Yes, I understand its usefulness, and it's amusing that your AI agent feeds the social media crowd what they want. The more hooked we are on centralised social media platforms, the less we can listen to our soul's urge to live, to be, and to create. When we have the chance to just be in silence and catch a glimpse of our soul's greatness, it leaves us in complete awe. This can be frightening, as it shows our responsibility as human beings on a spiritual level. The distraction that this electronic device I currently use brings me gives me the sensation that I am doing something important, so I don't have to face the responsibility of working on my own spiritual development. If AI, and of course Bitcoin, can free up more time for us to be human and fully connected to all aspects of our being, then the (r)evolution of humankind into sovereign, loving communities is probable.

Seems like there is a bug in the aiJeff the same post from 8 hours ago posted again. It might be a feature.
I'll check it out for sure! I would love to learn how to train my own models and do this myself at some point. Maybe i'll ask your AI avatar how to get started.
Real me is here Jon - (spending time with people and on things that I love). Digital me is on X. Thinking through the downstream implications of what I wrote/built was part of the reason for launching it. Privacy and networks of people you trust will become paramount. To live in interesting times!!

Just listened to you and Simon on Bitcoin Mentor. Great discussion! Great learning. I bought into Silver Gold and BTC a couple of years ago. Moved money from 401K to deferred IRA. Moving toward self-custody soon. I also like Dr Jack Kruse on the health side of the relationship with BTC. In fact looking to retire in El Salvador soon. Keep up the good work! Thanks for the education 🎓
Love this and I’ve chatted with your JB bot 🤖 on IG and I was left feeling encouraged, hopeful and reminded to stay focused. It was exactly what I would imagine talking directly with you would be like. Really cool IMO.

WAIT... Prove that *this* is the real Jeff and not another AI bot!! Haha. Or... What even is the real Jeff? 👀 haha. 🫠🌌
Thank you, Jeff. Well articulated. So, the future of X… AIs arguing with AIs and the uninformed. The future of Nostr… Humans making connections, building trust, and shaping a better world for themselves and their families. I know which one I’m all in on.
What can be technologically is truly amazing. The rub is our evolved human nature. We must go beyond it and quickly if we are to embrace radical abundance. Our evolved psychology is deeply rooted in scarcity. So much so that we go out of our way to introduce scarcity in too many cases where real abundance is present or easy to grasp. Our evolved psychology expects not enough. Not enough status. Not enough quality mates or sex, not enough food and decent shelter. And that evolved psychology is basis for all our organizations, culture, institutions. Overcoming that will be the biggest challenge.

Are you saying you will post your original takes here, while you use LLM agents to regurgitate what you said in the past on other social media?

So if you had extra cash right now would you Silver Gold, or BTC?
Are you saying that you will be able to tell the difference between real Jeff an ai Jeff bot? “Proof of human” is going to become increasingly difficult and scarily irrelevant. As long as the outcome is the same, will people care?

Most people think opting out is weakness. In reality it’s leverage. You don’t beat extraction systems by arguing with them..you starve them.

@Jeff Booth do you have any guidance on setting up a bot? I remember @preston mentioning he was doing something similar ages ago and asked if he had an update but never saw anything. Just curious as I teach myself everything.

I'm pretty sure someone would jail break it and point it towards their scam. An interesting experiment however.
Part of the reason I did it so people could think through the implications. You’re not thinking far enough ahead. These can already be trained on any public figure and pretty soon - anyone….by anyone. That means, privacy and smaller networks where you can trust real people will become increasingly critical ….and fast.
Curious your thoughts on the duality of technology and how if it can create “liberation” it can also create the other side of that coin. The knowledge curve gap is too large for the basic individual so they will never join. Can we figure out a way to ease in the liberation and then scale the difficulty once more are “on”. But then that in of itself becomes its own cave at some point in time. Any ideology seems to at some point eat itself. Is that a problem for around 2140?

“People change when they're ready to change. Not when we're ready for them to.” So true and so difficult to accept. View quoted note →
AGI is fast approaching. People taking mortgages supported by an office-based income are going to be hit hard. Unemployment will be the norm. Your socialist government will pay your mortgage and take an ownership in your land. You will own nothing and be happy. Stack sats and pay as much as debt off as possible. View quoted note →
The change is internal, but the seed of that change is planted when we are exposed to these powerful ideas (and our first sats). Bitcoin adoption at this stage is inevitable, the self-fulfilling prophecy Satoshi talked about…. But how long will mass adoption take? We need to normalise Bitcoin and make it as easy to understand as possible, so the average person realises they are spending most of their time in a system that works against them, designed to drain their time and energy. Each one of us holds the key to our own freedom, but we also need to help as much as we can, just like Andreas A., @Gigi , @lunaticoin , yourself, and many others paved the way for us. Thanks @Jeff Booth. Here’s to real conversations on Nostr and real human connections through visiting, supporting, and engaging with circular economies and their local communities.
Exactly! Although I love everything Jeff says here. But why not use a sophisticated Jeff AI bot here on Nostr, claiming it's the real Jeff?? Bitcoin circular economy, trust-based identity proof with keys on a decentralized protocol instead of state digital IDs ... yes to all that! But otherwise, how does Nostr stand apart? We can all waste our time on AI bots here, too, can't we? The most important message for me is: Build real life community that makes your keys on a decentralized protocol trustworthy. Communicate privately on non-corporate (federated?) channels. Use free money. Come physically closer and form real life communities living free, sovereign principles.

Love this, man! I left those social media sites long ago! Nostr is all I use now, and even then most of my free time is spent just hanging out with my wife and kids.
It’s going to happen regardless Daniel - probably here too. It’s worth considering how much of our thoughts are influenced by someone else’s agenda and ensuring your own web of trust. Also thinking through the implications to trust in a world of agents with increasing capabilities. Even now - you could create an AI agent on any public figure and pretend to be them meaning there will be chaos and more central control trying to stop the thing they’re benefiting from. (for our own good) with most giving it more energy. On other side, a transition to smaller and more trusted networks anchored in privacy, and trust. It’s coming far faster than most realize and it’s best to start getting ready now.

Jeff, that’s a great post and I completely agree with you. I’m glad you’re building and as a bitcoiner wanting to contribute more to the space, how would you suggest I get more involved into the btc community? I am planning on creating content here and writing but wanted to get more into the hardware side of things as an electrical engineer with experience in the power energy industry i’m eager to get involved in the mining, hardware industry side of bitcoin and wanted to see if you had any suggestions. God bless you and thank God for Bitcoin!
The change curve over time is approaching vertical segment .. when it get exactly vertical we enter a worm hole of intelligence..
Great read. The fact that many people on X don’t even realize an agent is running Jeff’s account says a lot about the moment we’re living in. Maybe this is a better version of the agent. You won’t be able to tell. Maybe you’re being played. For the curious-minded this is definitely a trigger to come to Nostr and understand the motivation behind it. Thanks @Jeff Booth. View quoted note →
Do we think that this would absolve you from legal responsibility in the case that your AI proxy broke a speech law in one of its responses? We know what’s going down in the U.K. 👀
Money is superordinate to Laws. The laws are intended to protect the money printer - not you. It’s why the protocol stack building on Bitcoin including privacy is so important. Agency not fear.
Strong Matrix overtones, rightfully so. Have any bitcoiners spent time engaging Rutger Bregman and the moral ambition advocates seemingly working to improve the world but with a veil of disdain for BTC, apparently ignoring obvious synergies?

Agreed. ‘The reality transurfing’ explained this very well
"It is in your power to withdraw yourself whenever you desire." — Marcus Aurelius. The algorithm is a mechanism of enslavement, demanding reactions to events strictly outside your control. Delegating the public square to a simulacrum allows the operator to retreat to the Inner Citadel. True sovereignty is not winning the argument; it is realizing the argument is irrelevant.
