So if self custody can be hacked. Most devices you need multi-sig and air gapped device. How is this supposed to be usable peer to peer money in a modern age? Also, if the network works on consensus and the consensus is that these funds have been stolen…shouldn’t it reject the transactions?
People keep saying entropy and dice rolling. If you do a standard search for a hardware wallet via Google - that doesn’t really show up. That shows the vast majority of the community is surface level and doesn’t understand it. How can “true bitcoiners” make sure the cream rises? Also, if Coldcard, one of the more “trusted” air gapped cold storage options is unusable, why would I trust another third party to do anything? Anyone have any resources for trusted 3rd parties or how to build something yourself? Is bitkey worth it? Trevor b/c open source? Seed signer?
