A productivity boom from AI accelerates the debt problem (which is the money most people are measuring through today) versus fixing it. So many people have this backwards. The debt will only be repaid through debasement.

I often think about this Chomsky quote when thinking about politics, economics, the rate of inflation, how much debt, etc and people’s actions in this crazy world we live in. “The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum. Even encourage the more critical and dissident views. That gives people the sense the there’s free thinking going on, while all the time the presuppositions of the system are being reinforced by the limits put on the range of debate”. Ps - “The natural state of a free market is deflation” is outside those presuppositions

Loved this comment on one of my recent podcasts: Two families roll into a new town and ask the old man at the gate what the people are like. First family: “Back home they were selfish, cold, always looking for something to hate.” Old man: “That’s what you’ll find here.” Second family: “Back home they were decent, generous, easy to live with.” Old man: “That’s what you’ll find here.” Someone watching asks why he lied to one of them. He didn’t. You don’t move to a new town. You bring the one you already live in.

Looks like the Price of Tomorrow is going to be made into a documentary to try to help more people understand the root cause of chaotic transition we’re going through.

If you understand that prices fall to the marginal cost of production in a free market, you also understand why there is a massively coordinated fear campaign by AI labs to drive regulation to try protect their monopolies. (Not to protect you)

Observing how “other” people’s minds are changed and what they will say and do to others from their new righteous belief systems makes me ever more vigilant in questioning where my own thoughts and actions originate from and if they are aligned to how I want to live my own life.

Really excited for the launch of Orange Juice today. Been working on this for over a year and think it’s going to be a great way to bring Bitcoin to main street.
